After spending £120M this summer you might expect them to beat a Palace side who've barely trained together all summer.

Pressure's got to be on Arteta after splurging this window. For me the squad's still behind Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea in quality. I wouldn't bet against Manchester United finishing above them either, with their new manager.

So raised expectations and a likely finish of sixth in the table (at best), it's not looking good for Arteta. I also wouldn't bet against a managerial change before January.

You win 2-0 at one of the toughest grounds in the country on the opening day and Pig signals a managerial sacking.

City,Liverpool and Chelsea should all finish above Arsenal,think Jesus is a half decent shout for the leagues top scorer though.

Ok, not about Arsenal but I reckon Leicester will have a tough time this season. The owner's duty free business King Power has been hammered by Covid and now there is no logic in owning a Premier League football club. Leicester have made no signings, sold Schmeichel and are likely to sell Fofana. Rodgers will probably leave at his first good opportunity with a fee to compensate. My guess is the club is already up for sale.

Disappointed to see Zinchenko deployed at LB where he was shoehorned into the city side. Surely he thought Arteta would play him in MF when signing for them.
