A nice pleasant, friendly post from the pig is a rare occurrence........attention seeking loon!!
Fantastic news.
It was really disappointing when he was offered a new contract, considering he's been our worst performer for the past two seasons, by a country mile.
Having him in the team would've been a massive handicap this year, so this enforced absence is a huge boost for our chances.
I don't really see where he fits into the team currently. Armer is superior at left-back, both defensively and with the ball. Guy, Moxon and Devitt are all better footballers centrally, so Dickenson is no great loss.
You have to say giving such an injury prone poor performer a new contract was a schoolboy error by Simpson, but as long as he's nowhere near the starting XI, I'm happy.

How about taking a permanent holiday from this board, and taking Marko with you. Idiot.
As I keep saying Piglet is no supporter of Carlisle United Football, he is an imposter and he takes great delight in trying to wind up the true fans on this board, everyone needs to completely ignore his comments as when we react it gives this moron the oxygen he needs, have a look through other clubs forums and see who he really supports and treat that club the same way he treats ours……
Piglet you are truly a disgusting individual. To say a serious injury is fantastic news, whether for shock value or just because you don't care about anyone except yourself, can't be justified.
If you don't rate him as a player that's up to you but to totally lack empathy for a fellow human, quite honestly stinks.
Fair enough cousinscotty I accept what you say regarding PP and also agree with Marko that the message board would indeed be very boring, if not entirely pointless if everyone had the same opinion.
Seemingly revelling in the fact that someone has suffered what could be a serious injury is a bit much however, and is what annoyed me.
I wonder if Brennan wouldn't be better, calling it a day. When he joined us, he said, we were the only club that offered a 2 year contract. His latest contract is presumably lower than the previous, and no one else came in for him. Where does he go next? Even a Bromley or and Eastleigh are going to sign a player who is always out injured. Take the insurance pay out, go part-time and move on.
From reports, Brennan's injury is a Grade 2 ACL sprain. There are two questions, how painful is it? and how unstable is the knee? If the answers are bad then ligament graft surgery is needed and he's out for the season. On the other hand is the tear is quite minor and the knee remains stable then 3 months of physio could see him back to training. Obviously we hope his injury is at the minor end of the Grade 2 range.I have no idea how easy it is to do, not very I would expect. It'll depend on a doctor's exam? He was out for 9 months the first time his acl went. Josh Dixon now on his 3rd acl injury? I wonder what effect it has in later life.
Very tough

It is fantastic news for the team
As a footballer, these things happen. He'll be looked after until he recovers. If he's not fit to play again, he'll have to get a proper job like anyone else, that's football - and that's life.
I sincerely hope his long term health and mobility will be ok, and genuinely wish him a speedy recovery (but not a speedy return to our starting XI).
