I stopped reading after it said EWM don’t run the club.

Why have we got Holdsworth, Dobbinson and Jackson involved - with anything those with the money control it.

More than ever this month, the answers are twisted words. I read the EFL statement on AJ and know what it meant - it didn’t mean no banks etc load of bollocks for that answer.

Load of Bollocks for the Holdsworth answer as well re recruitment. He is Days mate, it is a case of who you know otherwise he wouldn’t of been interviewed.

At least we’re not Stockport

I wonder if Clibbens has been on a training course to be so pompous and rude or if it just comes across naturally.

Particularly the thing about scores from 1-10 on page 3.

My initial thoughts, might post a more detailed response later.

I’ll start with a positive. The answer to Q1 was ok, a fans forum was long overdue and I’m glad they have finally organized one. Nigel is very good at responding to emails and criticism which is also a plus. Increasing the player budget good too.

Wasn’t so happy with his response to the question where he is asked to rate the clubs performance. He says it isn’t helpful but I disagree. In terms of building bridges and encouraging more dialogue between fans and the directors, it is extremely helpful to know if we're even on the same page, so finding out the chief execs personal opinion on how well he thinks things are going is quite important for that. I was particularly interested to see what score he would have given "success over the last 10 years". In that time, attendances have cut in half, and we've dropped from near the top of league one to near the bottom of league two. I think most people would consider that a failure and struggle to rate it anything above 3 (there were a few good successes in that time). He says there are better ways to benchmark and monitor than the score approach, maybe he could elaborate on what those ways are and put them into practice?

I don’t see any reliable evidence that there is any significant correlation between confidence in BOD and attendances, so using attendance trends to measure as a guide for confidence trend has no value, in my opinion

Again I disagree. I know a lot of fans who would come back the minute Jenkins Nixon and Patt left, regardless of where we were in the league. For many fans it feels like the BOD have their own interests that are not aligned with those of the club. Fans feel treated like an inconvenience rather than welcomed. The drop in league position is also a factor but I think you would see an immediate jump in attendance regardless of league position if those three left.

Nigel said it was a coincidence that Holdsworth was available for an interview after a good result. Even if fans are willing to give him the benefit of the doubt this time, it’s something the club need to bear in mind. If Mr Holdsworths schedule prevents him giving interviews sometimes then fair enough, nothing you can do about that, but if becomes a pattern and we only ever hear from him after good results, the inference people are likely to draw is that he’s avoiding us after bad results.

Fair enough response about the outdated adverts. It’s not the most important issue, but I brought it up because the club need to understand that these small things add up, and can give people the impression they don’t care. If there’s a valid reason then fine, and hopefully if the directors can work on building bridges and repairing the relationship with fans, these issues can be talked about in a constructive way and avoid people getting the wrong idea.

Q29. I agree with his response, give Beech more time. The real talking point here though is the revelation that Nigel Clibbens uses emojis :)

In terms of running the club, JJ does not attend games or the club, he is not involved in operational matters or football. His involvement is remote, with a very light touch.

I don’t think this is helpful. It does feel that EWM is calling the shots, and it’s reasonable for fans to want to know more about them and what their intentions are.

Developing a CUSG website which will hopefully act as an umbrella website for all supporters groups

No. Mullen is helping CUOSC with theirs. The CUSG one will be seperate, like a hub for CUFC fans...

I could hardly believe my eyes to all that junk. NOTHING HAS CHANGED
Either can’t answer that or it’s waffle. It reeks to of sorry we can’t tell you anything about that. I seems we are just bobbing along. It rudderless.

It is my belief that CUFC is owned and run by (undisclosed). CLUBKILLERS

Absolutely agree, it's like there is no ambition and we're just drifting. They say the aim is promotion to the Championship but they have been running the club for over a decade and all that's happened is we've drifted further and further away from that goal.

Cool.

Clearly needed to go along with the CUFC official site, Twitter and Facebook, CUOSC site and Facebook and Twitter, CUSAT Facebook and Twitter, London Branch site, Facebook and Twitter and here.

Totally agree Tashy. For a club Carlisle’s size the amount of supporters groups and organisations is ridiculous. This is the real reason why no protests or campaign to oust the owners have ever materialised - too many cliques and not enough leaders.

If they avoid answering a question, like Nigel has here with the 1-10 self score, are we allowed to ask that question again at the next meeting? I can understand not being allowed to ask the same question if they have answered it and we don't like the answer, but in this case Nigel hasn't actually answered the question at all, he has avoided given a score from 1-10 as requested.

Also, I would encourage as many people as possible to bring banners criticizing the BOD to future games, now that he has confirmed it is allowed.

Flags and banners are not generally confiscated, however the obstruction of gangways, access routes, exits and entrances, signage and stairways arestrictly forbidden. In the event of an emergency we must have all access and exit points clear. The Club welcomes flags and banners from both home and away fans.
