Why don’t we just announce he’s working for us? Worst kept ‘secret’ yet that he’s now employed by the Club in some capacity.

Can’t take that long to come up with a title surely?!

The club has a history of jumping in and giving out new deals to managers( Abbott even got one after doing crap) , like they did to Beech. Don't understand it as it never seems to work out. You'd think with them going on about finances every week, they wouldn't do it as it wastes money

Weren't we top of the league and flying when we offered Beech the new deal ?

Holdsworth keeps saying these are the players Beech wanted but how far down the list were some of them ?

The last good appointments were by FS
We had two promotions under Knighton and Story , the fans wanted Knighton out and took Story to court . No promotions since then so maybe its the fans that dont want promotion if you bear that in mind 😉

Whilst he is a proud Cumbrian, doesn't he have as much interest in football as PD?

John Ward's massive contract must have cost Fred a small fortune to pay off.

This was an interesting quote from DH when commenting on CB's contact extension last December (we were top on 6th January I believe).
“It has been a pleasure for me to work on the identification and recruiting of players who fit the ethos Chris is building within his dressing room''.
It was part of an article written by John Colman in the Evening News & Star on 25/12/20.

Watching the latest interview on the Club site, DH is almost saying that he wouldn't have sacked Beech but it was a board decision. He again is saying that some people in the Club need to roll up their sleeves. Is he criticising Guy who he has just given a 3 year contract? DH sounds good but when you try and dissect what he says you learn very little as others have said. According to DH, Beech has selected the players he wanted and set them up in a way that he wouldn't have but some other people who haven't worked hard enough are to blame for the poor results. Let's see how the team performs tomorrow.
I watched DH being interviewed on Lookaround this evening.

I thought the interviewer did a good job in asking pertinent questions, although he didn't press DH to expand on his answers.

There were questions about the fans' fear of relegation, whether Skelton was to be offered the job, Day's role at the club and succession at board level.

I agree, was a really good set of questions.
Maybe he could have a word with Philips.

Each time you hear the BS, just look at the league table.

There's always some crap when it comes to the current owners and Holdsworth is another example, he may be PD's man but the idiots in charge went running to Day in the first place. Oh how i miss when they didn't own the club :(

So from the Holdsworth interview on youtube, would I be right in saying he didn't actually agree with sacking him?
