It is related. Specifically it's about why my threads on different topics all seem to be getting merged into the one thread. I have tried raising this concern with the mods by emailing them but they are refusing to reply so not sure where else I can bring it up. It's fans are having their voice suppressed on the main forum for the club, that's definitely a CUSG issue I think.
Does CCU's abuse of the thread merging facility give us a clue as to the identity of the mystery moderator who deleted Barry's posts?

Just interested in the reasoning for why some of my threads have been merged. If I started multiple threads about the same issue then I would completely understand but you've merged totally unrelated threads, for example the Laffy bet thread has been moved into the thread about Barry's missing posts.

He might not know which specific moderator did it. I have my suspicions.
With this merge thing, what happens if for example Mullen died on Sunday and we won the final? I might start a thread saying "Mullen has died" and start a different thread about the Euros saying "Excellent news". But if you merged them into a single thread, it would look like I was saying it's excellent news that Mullen died

It is unfair, because if other fans are allowed to create multiple threads and I'm not, then I'm being treated differently.
Reason for edit: Removed a single letter. I typed "I" at the end of the post by mistake and have removed it, which I think is fair use of the edit facility.

And a lot of that is CCU merging completely unrelated posts into this one for some odd reason.

I think it was CCU who merged the posts. Could another mod look and say whether they are ok with that decision? If so, could you just explain the reasoning? I'm asking because despite what people think I do sometimes talk about other issues apart from Barry's posts, so if I want to start a thread about a new topic how do I know it won't be merged?

You aren’t getting ‘treated differently’, because you’re the only one carrying on in this fashion. I’m sure the rest of us would receive similar treatment if we launched a spam offensive against those who run this board.
