First section of the Carabao is split into north and south I think.

Crawley have just signed last seasons League 2 top scorer Dom Telford from Newport.

Big statement of intent from them.

Not quite sure how they’ve managed that, top scorer in L2 last season.

Not often you manage to downgrade from Newport!

Should be a good first game of the season

Everyone thinks there’ll struggle, but I think their model is solid and will bring huge investment.

3 year deal on good wages after 1 good season

Always pretty telling where a player ends up in regards to how good he actually is. Normally 25 league goals would automatically result in a move to a higher league or to a club with mega money for their level, the fact he’s moved to a less fashionable club in the same league is pretty telling.

Previous 7 seasons as a pro he scored 14 goals, a great 7 months where he bagged 24 was followed by 1 goal in his last 13 games. Suspect he hit a purple patch in an otherwise non-descript career.
