Could be a very shrewd choice.

Knows the Lower League’s very well, has contacts too (We had some excellent Loanees when he was Manager!).

He was on BBCRC on Sat, saying he’d just finished at Solihull and I did wonder…

Maybe Greg fancies another shot as Manager..... in time of course

Fair enough, as CCU says he's got experience and connections, he's also honest and will put in the hours and effort, unlike his predecessor.

Should be able to tap up a few Bradford players now instead of the other way round lol

Did he not do the role at Bradford a bit back or have I imagined that? Seem to recall it did not go that well, with one of the biggest budgets in the league.
Really puzzled why Simmy has distanced himself from this role.

He does, and he will put the hours in. Does he know anything about data analysis?

I would take Abbott over Holdsworth all day long.

Interesting and a good choice imo.

2 of our best managers, in recent times, working together can only be a good thing!

Starting to look like a professional club again, on the football side, instead of a jobs for the boys outfit.

Also doing things the cheap and nasty way will only get you relegated.

I’m sure he’ll be working in conjunction with our Analyst as/when required…

Was never his biggest fan but to be fair to him he did have an eye for a player, just a shame he wouldn’t play them or didn’t know how to use them - Paddy Madden, Nakhi Wells, Oliver Norwood, Jeremy Helan, Cory Evans, etc.

The next Richard Offiong or Kevan Hurst could be on their way to join us.

This has got to be some kind of sick joke bringing that clown back here.

What a nightmare. :(

Disappointed at Simmo.

Big suprise that one. Always thought he slipped up badly letting Wells go without giving him a chance. Simmo will have to watch his back good job he has a 3 year contract :D
