Please add the news report of the action at Stuart Days house this evening on here via a link. Thanks in anticipation.

Who said anything about a news report ?

The lads I talk to from Bury are real fans the ones who drove Day out and from what they've said the latest tosser won't be far behind him after what he said and did this week unlike you and your bunch of Trust [censored] who won't lift a finger to rid us of the cancer that is Jenkins and co but can i ask do you all take it in turns to stick your dicks up his arse or is true that you're his favourite and always get first dibs ?

I very much doubt the lads you were talking to were anything to with it unless of course, you're a closet former member of the BNP.

But hey if you are and you're taking the Trust way to the right that can only be a good thing. Why not get in touch with the Football Lads Alliance maybe they could arrange for Tommy Rob to come to a match and help with your next recruitment drive.

You heard it here first.

Apparently, Days pile of crap was so big that the new owner very quickly realised things are so bad that it wasn't even worth putting money in to try and save it hence the issues with the wages.

I.m told 10 million won't even touch the sides and it will take 5m alone just to get the ground back

Whilst it’s never nice to see a Club struggle, most fans just aren’t bothered as long as their own Club is ok.

Wether that’s right or wrong is another debate!

Whilst Bury might be sniggering that they took Adams - after the two games against them this season I bet they wished that they had kept Hope and Etuhu.

Good article about Nicky Adams and Bury playing for nowt basically.

He says he'd never have gone on strike. I tend to think the Bolton players made a big mistake there.

You wouldn't expect Tesco to give handouts to local corner shops, we shouldn't expect big clubs to prop up lower League clubs who's owners can't budget properly.

In fact the One Stop chain, which is owned by Tesco, is in direct competition with local corner stores.

Tesco bought Bookers too, so they are also getting paid off the competition.

Sad for their fans but the current cash crisis in the lower leagues and rogue owners will never be sorted until a club goes out of business. To be fair it prob won’t be sorted then either.

Would guess at a Phoenix Club?

If EFL get rid, there’s likely no chance of the National League taking them at present, so options would be limited...

There are rules in place for such eventualities. Likely one division would run one team light if it was past a certain date.

Member Clubs get ratified at AGM’s (Both EFL and National League are due shortly) so decisions need to be made in respect of fixtures etc.

Football is littered with teams abusing finances. Bury have been promoted with a team they couldn't afford with players they should not have been able to get unless they had their house in order. I'm not picking on bury as the league is full of such examples more so in the championship where the clamber to reach the PL brings the worst out of every greedy so and so out there. The governing bodies have much to answer for. So if league 1 starts with one team less, are the others compensated for losses? They budget for so many games surely.
Then relegation would be one team less thus affecting the competition as a whole etc. Etc..
The fans are the victims as usual. What a state the game is in due to greed.
The farce in Baku last night just goes to show that there is no one with any sense at the top table nevermind the EFL lot.

Pete - Bury have been promoted with a team they couldn't afford applies to most teams in the league who lose money, including Carlisle, especially in Curly Keith's day.
Way I read it is not that the current budget is so excessive (could be wrong) but more that the old and new owners have been funnelling money out to themselves?

Normally what happens is that if a club goes bust after the AGM the division runs with one team less.
Before the AGM other teams can take their place, but this needs to be ratified at the AGM, otherwise it is again a team less.

We should thank our lucky stars we have Jenkins. He’s kept the club going. What I hate is a few seasons back we got absolutely stuffed off Coventry and Leyton Orient and I think the following season they both nearly went out business. Paying big wages on players that probably shouldn’t even be in league 2

Remaining players told they can leave

So where does this leave League 1 and league 2 ...not sure if the club has folded altogether

So seesaw...no it hasn't folded but because players haven't been paid since March they can leave on a free transfer...that's big of them!! ! Provided they give the club 2 weeks notice.... even more !!!!!!!! Unbelievable.
Doubtful the new manager will have time to recruit other players in time for 3rd Aug...

So are they planning on paying any new players is the question.
