Cheers

It's always a bit depressing as we never sign any of them!

JJ Hooper is an interesting one. One goal for Grimsby in first half of season then loaned to Bromley in Conference and got 14 goals.

Been around a bit remember the name from Port Vale.

Started at Newcastle so Lummy might know a bit about him.

20 year old Aston Villa left-back Mitchell Clarke – who is currently on loan with League Two side Port Vale is free. Could be a youthful replacement for Grainger.

Funnily enough I mentioned him on our Mod’s chat the other day. He’ll surely be known to Pressley, and has had a solid season for Port Vale learning his game. Mind his agent was spouting about Premier League interest and German teams!

JJ Hooper is utter dog shit! Used to play for Workington iirc, can’t see him finding another league club.

At 32 though maybe pressley wouldn’t go there.

Jamie Ness, released by Plymouth, is a solid midfielder, not too old at 28 and likely looking for a move back up this end of the Country. Likely on too good a deal for us though!

I'd give Shaun Miller another go.
Particularly if as it appears, we are looking to attack with pace next season.
If he'd played upfront for us in the last 10 games we'd be in the play-offs now.

Didn't fit the way they played according to a lad i know who follows them.
Who knows eh...

Little and nimble player which appears to be the type Pressley has gone for so far.
I know it won't happen....

Miller asked to be listed at Crewe today seemingly, as mentioned they tend to play 4-3-3 now whereas he’s more a 4-4-2 striker...

That Luke Wilkinson isn't a bad centre half who has been released by Stevenage. Very experienced and not too old at 28.

Very southern based by the look of his career though and probably got a deal lined up somewhere.

Don't mess with his Mrs though!

www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/foo...lassing-pub-11720993

That Jon Mellish at Gateshead is a player we've bound to have been looking at.
