Holt had a decent game. It was puzzling why Collins didn't take him on.

The Admin team are sponsoring this game tomorrow with a few mates, come and say hello if you want to!

On a serious note, this fixture does a lot for Penrith financially, so have a beer/soft drink, buy a raffle ticket/programme etc.

They’re also doing a Goal Rush comp over the next few weeks, worth an entry if you fancy!

:)

Anyone ever walked from the station to French fields?

I’m without a car this weekend, so was going to give it a miss but now I’m contemplating the train.

It’s a fair walk, as once you reach the pub on the corner it’s still a good walk down the Lane!

In Carlisle terms, how far roughly? From Carlisle city centre to where?

I did the same walk when we played there in the summer when we had just signed Bastian Hery.
I'm sure it took about 45 minutes, although there may be shortcuts I wasn't aware of.

Good effort that.
Can't get up for the game - would have been nice to meet you all.
Hope the day goes really well.

It’s mainly going to be the youth team playing tomorrow anyway so think I’m going to give it a miss.

If you are still stuck tomorrow drop me an email and I'll pick you up. I'm coming into Carlisle to drop my daughters at their Gran's before going on to Penrith. Mods'll give you the address

I can imagine Crunch tucking into a nice piece of Battenburg Cake and a nice cup of tea at your Grans as you drop off the kids....

The 104 bus goes past French field on its way to centre PARC's. Few of us going by train and plenty of cabs in Penrith
