At the end of the day who was the one that left a note saying " sorry, there's no money left".

As for being unfortunate and ill advised, if it was Trump it would be treacherous, racist, war mongering, but the left is the side of peace, as was shown by the treatment of old aged pensioners in London last week.

Liam Byrne's comment about no money left could be described as unfortunate and ill advised.

Gerald Ratner " crap jewellery" comment could be described as unfortunate and ill advised.

Dianne Abbott, generally, could be described as unfortunate and ill advised.

Condoning the death of 4 opposition MP's, well perhaps not,

If the Labour party can actually prove the Tory government is responsible for the deliberate deaths of 120,00 of it's citizens, I look forward to seeing that in their next manifesto.

All part of the peace process I guess.

No, I think publications like that are wrong. They don't help the peace process at all. If you say it's good when someone from the other side dies, you are just making them hate you even more and want revenge and they will be less likely to want to sit down and talk. Corbyn is not perfect and I never said he was.

Academics at the London School of Economics analysed the content of eight national newspapers between 1 September and 1 November 2015, when Mr Corbyn was first elected. The media researchers found that in 52 per cent of articles about the Labour leader, his own views were not included – while in a further 22 per cent they were “present but taken out of context” or otherwise distorted. n just 15 per cent of 812 articles analysed, Mr Corbyn’s views were present but challenged, and in only 11 per cent were they present without alteration.

“Our analysis shows that Corbyn was thoroughly delegitimised as a political actor from the moment he became a prominent candidate and even more so after he was elected as party leader,”

Gosh who would have thought it? Billionaire newspaper owners who live in tax havens don't want an honest politician who will make them pay tax, so they distort the truth. “These results relating to sources and ‘voice’ are evidently troublesome from a democratic perspective.

And the man who threw the milkshake over the pensioner, where does it say he was a Labour supporter. Considering that Donald MacNaughton was arrested and tried for shooting a civilian in Armagh in 1974 the attacker could have had any kind of grievance. No evidence he was left wing at all, that's made up

Haha, this is class. “Present but taken out of context” - you’d know all about that Markovitch, one of your favourite pastimes!

Further down you’re accusing journalists of “distorting the truth”, exactly what I accused the Independent of doing with Farage and you virtually said it doesn’t happen. I accused you of being naive for believing everything you read in newspapers. Make your mind up, do they distort the truth or not?

It’s amazing how you see things differently when they suit your agenda.

Once again I’m going to have to pull you up for mis-truths (losing count of the amount of times I’ve had to do this).

The BMJ did research and found austerity MAY BE LINKED to an extra 120,000 deaths in the UK between 2010 and 2017, the last 3 years was an estimation of future deaths aswell I might add. They were even quoted as saying at the end of the report...

“This is an observational study, so no firm conclusions can be drawn about cause and effect.”

A far cry from your ill-informed statement of “120,000 HAVE died DUE to austerity”

Here’s a more balanced opinion for you...

See above Markovitch and note the word ‘virtually’. As it suited your agenda at the time you implied that newspapers don’t sensationalise and mis-quote people, something I had to point out to you at the time as being naive.

Think it’s probably best if you stick to commenting on things you don’t see on TV from now on Markovitch rather than the serious stuff like interpreting newspaper articles and posting facts and figures as you’re simply not cut out for it. I look forward to your next riveting thread about Chinese restaurants at 5am!

Genuinely embarrassed that a so-called educated man has resorted to this, the only other person I’ve seen post something like this on here was Barry, which says it all.

I’m glad you’ve shown yourself up though, it saves me the job.

Just illustrating how childish your arguments are Frank. You accused me of lying then tried to wheedle your way out of by claiming the word virtually totally negated the rest of the sentence. So I taught you a short, sharp lesson in how that doesn't work. Of course you won't learn because you don't have the capacity but others will understand. As the old saying goes I would challenge you to a battle of wits but I see you are unarmed
