The interview avoids the issue of why Kinder replaced Edmondson at the point when young local players seem to be emerging. Results under Kinder were good but he didn't produce many good players. Dempsey would have come through even if Roddy Collins had been in charge, I remember Kinder saying Potts would never get a professional contract as a midfield player and Madine was a loose cannon who fell into our lap.
