McKirdy always seems to get cramp. It would be interesting to know how far he runs in a game.

Ray Houghton who is always very good on Talksport was on about wasting energy during a game the other week. He himself ran about like a blue arsed fly as a young lad chasing lost causes until he learned you can't do that for 90 minutes. It's a fine line though.

If you watch some of those top strikers they will be chasing everything down as you'd expect but don't unduly exert themselves when not involved.

After the game against Leicester there are a lot of the first team squad that wouldn't get a game if they went out on loan, NUFC are awful to watch...

Magpies U23 coach Neil Redfern is reported to be considering recalling Elias in January, could this and our FA cup TV money get us a recognised capable striker?

If yes who?

Yeah assuming Olomola goes back in January, we'll need someone in so if Sorensen isn't near starting he might as well go back and we can put the budget towards someone ready to be our main striker.

Ricky Miller and Jack Redshaw are available. Joe Hardy if available from Brentford or Reece Edmunson from Leeds. Connor Bell was highly rated in Scotland but doesn’t have a club. Also saw that Craig Curren is a free agent.

Miller is a loose cannon and Redshaw a downward spiral for a good while. Connor Bell drifts and Craig Curran is shite.

Hardy didn’t want to come here, hence Sorensen coming!

Pretty ironic after transfer windows of yesteryear that we may start February with a complete set of new strikers.

As for Sorensen, absolutely atrocious but will probably end up with a Premier League Golden Boot knowing our track record with strikers.

Sure Connor bell left South Shields to go to Australia or New Zealand.

Leeds generally won’t loan players to L2 unless their being released at the end of their contract (Mccaron is likely to go to a L1 club in Jan).

Can’t see any clubs queuing up to loan us their players, if you look at our last 9 loanees bar O’Hare, Olomola & Thomas they’ve all failed to develop and often play (Cullen, Simpson, Thomas, O’Hare, Slater, Olomola, Sorrenson, carrol and loft)

Can't see many clubs interested in taking him given how his last two loans have ended ie his shite attitude meant he didn't get games hence the Geordies got pissed off as they were left paying the majority of his wages for him to do nothing I imagine they.ll do what they did last year and send him out training with the Academy kids

I don't think that he is too clever.

When the squad was sent on holiday by Pressley he could have kept a low profile or a few photos of him doing voluntary extra training as he hadn't been playing well.

But no - Sorenson is frolicking in the pool abroad with not a care in the world as to our league position.

Another baffling thing with Pressley was that you would have thought that he would have been strict but in different ways both Sorenson and McKirdy clearly have the wrong attitude whereas Pressley singled Hayden out as not having the right attitude as a footballer hence him not even making the bench - strange chap.

I don’t think he would this season to be fair, next season maybe...

I think if he took over at Anfield tomorrow, he’d win a couple of games, then he’d talk about utilising the speed in the team and making a few tweaks that he thinks would improve the team.

Then once he got to grips with the squad, had them on the training pitch for a few weeks and made his few tweaks, they’d go on a horrendous run where they wouldn’t win another away game all season, but they’d be statistically one of the highest passers in the league and he’d make sure to mention it at every opportunity.

As the weeks go by they’d drop down the league table, Europa League qualification would start to look questionable. When people question him about the downturn in form he’d say it’s unfair to judge him now and wait till next season after he’d had a summer and preseason to put his stamp on this Liverpool team, he’d guarantee they’d be the fittest team in the premier league.

As the season comes to a close, his Liverpool team have dropped to 10th, they need to win their last away game of the season to stand any chance of qualifying for the europa league which he’d fail to do. Fans are pissed off because of the position they were in when he took over, but Pressley says statistically they are one of the top teams so every thing is alright.

After an 11th placed finish, his post match/season press conference would be a speech about how brilliant and fit his Liverpool team are going to be next season and how excited he is about the green shoots he sees. Meanwhile he releases Van Dijk, Alexander-Arnold and a few others as he’s not happy with the defence and thinks he can improve it with different personnel.

To be continued.

Didn’t expect much else from the worlds most brainless fans.

99% of them won’t ever have seen him play other than the 30 second highlight reel on YouTube so they’re perfectly placed to pass judgement on Carlisle United and Sorensen.

The fact he got binned out of Blackpool without playing a game and now binned from us without playing won’t even register with those clowns...can’t be coincidence. That’s three managers who think he’s rubbish. Four if you include his parent club loaning him out rather than put any faith in him.

It's better to be silent and assumed a fool than to speak and remove all doubt

Must be disappointing for the lad. He looked good when the ball was played to feet in and around the box but he didn't have the anticipation even of Shaun Miller. It was the right decision to send him back. Let's hope the message is that Beech has another player ready to come in and replace him
