We are already right in it!

I'm surprised how so many on here think we are too good to go down and if we are in trouble they will suddenly get a couple of good players.

We have lost twice as many games as we have won.

We also have the second worst goal difference too thanks mainly to Webster.
With the dross we currently have we are NOT too good to go down!

Can someone clarify - is Hayden a right sided CB or a RB?

Right sided centre back I think.

We won’t beat Plymouth imo.

Obviously hope results go our way as I’m shitting myself about relegation, but Oldham away and Walsall at home are the games we can realistically take points from. 4 points minimum from those 2 but if we could get 6 it would be massive.

I’ve read loads of comments on here saying we will not go down as if it’s a formality.

2 league wins in our last 3 months. If we continue that form over the next 3 months with only 2 wins then I think it’s likely we’ll be bottom.

This month is huge. We are relegation standard so we must strengthen to make sure we stop the rot and the downward trajectory.

At the start of the season I didn't seriously think we would go down but the way things have been recently it's entirely possible. Things seem to have picked up a bit since Beech took over hopefully that continues.

Hayden very definitely a centre-back. Should only play right-back in the most desperate of circumstances.

Think we're right in the thick of it relegation wise, but don't trust problem clubs like Macc/Oldham staying afloat.

I wouldn’t be too surprised if Macclesfield went to the wall. Their owner doesn’t seem particularly bothered and it seems pretty much of a shambles of a club at present.

NS will probably know the latest!

The owner hasn't been to the ground in 18 months

I.d say whether they become relevant to us will depend if they get the points back or not and in my view i.m pretty sure that's nailed on

As much as I'd take safety at all costs this season, it would be a Shan if we stayed up due to Bury and Macclesfield being expelled from EFL.

I would 100% take staying up for those reasons. Not ideal but with the mess of a team we have I’d take it.

So important we stay up. If we go out of the league under these owners, I think that would be it, the club would die. We’d never return. Game over.

I do think Adams will keep Morecambe up, they seem to be picking up plenty of points at home recently. Also have a feeling Westley will eventually get Stevenage going, hasn’t happened yet but I think it will sooner or later. If it does happen then we are in deep deep shit.

About 2 wins & 4 draws all season in the league for Morecambe is it not?

The point is they’ve started picking up points at home. If they win tonight that will be 3 wins and 2 draws in their last 6 home games.

If they continue that sort of form at home they’ve got every chance of staying up.

For me it’s going to be between us and Stevenage for bottom place, they’ve been absolutely shit but I just have this horrid feeling Westley will eventually start getting results. That’s why we cannot just assume we’re safe, we have to throw some money at it this month to get a team together that makes sure we stay up.

Oldham game Saturday looks like a must win game, to me it looks like a season defining game, we win and I think we could push on with a bit of confidence or we lose and can only see one way we will be going.

As always just an opinion

That Morecambe win puts them within 3 points of us. We have a game in hand but unless we improve drastically that’s not much of a plus. Hopefully Keith Curle will do us a favour by beating them at the weekend.

Stevenage and Oldham drawing is probably the best result we could have hoped for. Makes Saturday a huge game now, win and we are level on points with Oldham, lose and things will be looking grim.

It's no exaggeration to say that relegation is staring us in the face.

At least five players of PROVEN L2 standard are needed.

Over to you Holdsworth.

All three games ended in a draw.

Northampton will be most hacked off as with a few minutes to go they were up to third and in an automatic promotion spot.
