How would you rate our business out of 10?

I think it’s best not to get ahead of ourselves like last year but it seems like Beech has recruited thoroughly and the signings have done well so far.

Outgoings have been pleasing, especially if Branthwaite’s add-ons materialise.

8/10

Well the experts on here got it spectacularly wrong we brought a load of players in in all areas of pitch and spent money
It's certainly gives hope and a bit of excitement and a chance to build and bed players in going into next season far better window than could be expected

Be just and fear not

With the mess Pressley left I thought it was very likely we’d be relegated.

Always thought a lot hinged on sacking Pressley and then recruiting in January. Credit to the club and Beech, they’ve strengthened, kept McKirdy and we now have a very good chance of getting well out of trouble and already preparing for next season.

The players we’ve seen so far look an improvement, let’s hope these latest 3 add to that. Feeling hopeful.

I’d be tempted to say 10/10.

We were always going to lose Branthwaite sooner or later. The cash from that deal seems to have boosted us no end, and Beech has made the absolutely most of it with some seemingly cracking signings. And got rid of some of the deadwood.

Great job all round by owners and management team.

I’m actually excited to be a Carlisle fan again, having felt nothing but despair since the football terrorist Pressley dismantled our former squad.

Maybe best to see how they play first....

Gut feeling is positive whereas it was full on negative with Pressley, not pleased to be right with Pressley but with the glimpses we seen on Tuesday the signs are good.

The only downside I can see in this is that it isn't the start of the season but it gives them the chance to bed in and be ready for the promotion push next season as finally some of the players are guaranteed to be here.

Its our turn to give some of these teams in a bad league a good scalping like we did to Forest Green.

Very positive, paying for players on 18 month contracts is almost unheard of, let's go for the play offs, nothing to lose.

Having said that , knowing Carlisle we will probably get stuffed tomorrow.

However, if we win again I hope there will be a big increase in the crowd against Swindon

Good window, planning for next season too with players brought in. Lets hope they cluck on the pitch straight away as it could be strong finish to the season.
Well done to Beech and Holdsworth for getting these deals over the line.

Very pleased with the window overall, shifted some deadweight and we've signed players in all the areas we needed strengthening. Keeping McKirdy and tying down G.Jones and Hayden to new deals is also excellent for the club.

It's nice to see we're building a squad for the future too, starting to feel like we've got a bit more of an identity.

Time will only tell if the new signings are any good but one thing is for sure, they can't be any worse than who they are replacing!

I’ve been impressed by the signings who have played so far ,I was critical of the Allessandra signing but he’s had two pretty good games up to now Watt seems good the same can be said for Hunt Anderson and Kayode if the latest recruits are equally as good we may soon start to forget the Pressley nightmare.

You could see what pressley was trying to do. High intensity attacking, fast overlapping full backs and the rock of two league 1 centre backs. Just didn't work did it. The centre backs were crap, the full backs couldn't defend and we shipped goals. We did though end up with hayden and mckirdy who look good.

Beech is going for youth with potential. I imagine a couple of the signings will be crap but let's hope a higher percentage are not. At least after tuesday the team should have some confidence, and beech has some better options. If we can get some points on the board he might experiment a bit as well, new keeper, and Hunt starting

A good number of signings have came in which was very much needed, the sales of Branthwaite (especially) and Hope have allowed this to happen.
It does seem like the car crash of a season could of been avoided if they hadn't gave Pressley a new deal, imagine how different the season could of been with a new manager in, in the summer?

Overall good window, but we shouldn't of been fighting to avoid relaxation this season we should of been fighting to go up. Hope the owners have finally learnt the lesson regarding sticking with a manager when he was out of contract.

The rest I dunno, we've certainly signed quantity, but whether we've signed quality only time will tell. Reading the resurrected player threads, a lot of us thought the players we've just binned off were going to be good.

I like Beech’s strategy of going for young players with a bit of playing experience in L2, L1 or the conference.

At the very least we seem to be serious about trying to stay up, which is a relief.

Terrible as Pressley was though, I wonder how many of the players he signed were those he really wanted.

Yes, there is a bit of rewriting of history going on, which is nothing new.

For all Pressley's numerous faults he was shopping in the absolute bargain basement with no money to spend at all.

Beech on the other hand has been extremely fortunate to come into the club just over a month before the transfer window opened, and at a time when the club has good money to spend for the first time in donkey's years.

That money coming from things he had nothing to with raising.

Playoffs? Jesus, we’ve won 2 games and all of sudden there’s talk of playoffs.

I’d still settle for 2nd bottom. Before the last 2 games I just wanted us to get through this season without losing our league status, that’s still the case. The sooner we get to the 43-45 point mark the better, then I’ll relax.

Really don’t want to put a dampener on everyone’s promotion party, but lose today then with 2 games coming up against the league leaders and a team in and around the playoff spots, things could look pretty bleak again very soon. It could flip again pretty quickly.

Board has given Beech some money. We can't expect miracles but we could have got second bottom with Elvis and no signings. 12th or 13 th would be reasonable. I'll take lower but only if it means playing Hunt, Dewhurst, Charters and the young kids who will be here next year to get them blooded.

The time to judge these players is in 12-months time and not instantli pissing your knickers over players you've probably never heard of never mind seen play more than once.

The least the BOD could do is bring more players in to try and cover the shambolic decisions they've made.
