First it was Warnock, now it's Grayson. The curse of Madine strikes again.

I would employ Pressley as an analyst because of his obsession with stats.

You normally end up with a manager that has ben sacked from somewhere else or take a chance on a newbie like we have done - each option comes with its own risk.

Pressley was such an unmitigated disaster that I am amazed that he blagged the job in the first place never mind duping them into giving him an extension.

Always remember Grayson complaining like billy'o' after our fans ran on the pitch to celebrate getting to Wembley when he was in charge of Leeds, in the semi final of the Daffy Duck Cup. He alleged that a Leeds player had got punched, if I remember rightly he wanted us 'thrown out of the cup'.
However, when he was in charge of PNE a couple of seasons later, and they were playing Blackpool in a league cup game, then all hell broke loose at the final whistle with literately thousands of PNE fans running on the pitch and goading the Lashers, he then put it down to 'over excitement'.
Two faced git!!

Bry - it was Snodgrass got a slap off some herbert. I would like to think any manager would try and protect their players. Why would he lie about it?

Where did I say Grayson 'lied'? by what I can remember Grayson brought it up after the match, and I totally understand that he has a right to 'protect' his players, and to be totally fair to Snodgrass, I don't think he wanted to take it any further anyway.
My point was that he was quite happy to condemn Carlisle fans for running on the pitch (maybe a couple of hundred at the most, with one complete Dick who allegedly slapped Snodgrass and generally being arses), but as soon as it was the supporters of the team he managed (and there were literately thousands on the pitch then) then it was OK and they were just overexcited .

I.d say he was looking for excuses for when the board hauled him in the next morning.

Yes, fair enough Bry.
I don't recall him saying Carlisle should be kicked out the cup - far from it from a fans point of view as the last thing we needed was a cup final to distract the season.
There were a lot more than a few hundred on the pitch (was on boder rack and deek about if I remember right). I also have a photo (which I don't know how to post) from the play off game when hundreds were on the pitch taunting the Leeds fans in the waterworks.
My (long winded point) is that I see so much shit on here about Leeds fans, but all clubs (including Carlisle) have their fair share of scroats.

Your maybe getting a bit paranoid there Mr 'White' I don't think Leeds United or their fans were ever mentioned (in a bad way) in this thread.
