At 24 he needs regular game time, hopefully this move will give him that chance. Dewhurst maybe given a game or two before the end of the season, to see if he's worth another loan to cover 20/21.

Possibly the worst keeper that we have ever had.

You knew in the cup games that he would make a clanger before he went onto the pitch, he has been worse than Webster this season.

I hope that the lad kicks on and makes a career from the game but that goal he let in on the highlights the other week in that bounce game that Seep posted was criminal and may have ben a factor in this loan move.

Players need to play, the lad is in his mid twenties with virtually no league experience whatsoever sitting on the bench does nobody any good in that scenario.
He should have made a move like this a couple years ago

Be just and fear not

I take it the Chester directors aren't wanting promotion with this signing. They must have went to the once club they could think of with experience in how to help mess up a good season.

Hard to believe Gray was on Everton's books.

Look at the improvement in hayden. If he plays every week he could come on in leaps and bounds

He played 13 games for the Cefn Druids so he can’t be that bad.

Nah - I would have had Lenny in goal than Gray and lets not forget that LP played for us third tier.

Not that either are much cop like.

I was even saying before games about Gray that the opposition would have a one, maybe two goal lead with him in goal and unfortunately I was usually right.

It was worse than the Webster rickets as Gray is a goalie, some of his decision making was totally off the scale to the point where Beech got rid of the coach and goalie.

He needs to be a lot better than he has been as you cannot be unlucky every game and not have any good games, I cannot recall any.

Shamal actually played really well in 3 or 4 games , then Stevenage when he was like Douglas Bader. I thought he could have gone on to be a really good keeper

Bonham had a dodgy start, got really good then regressed. Fryer looked better to me.

How many loanees have we got now? Can dewhurst play?

I dont think we could call Gray one of our worst keepers, simply because we never seen him play in a meaningful game to prove his ability (or lack of)
Pidgeley was a better keeper than those Rose or Thompson definitely, as previously said, he did ok-ish for us in League 1.

I'll end the debate and remove all doubt about our worst ever keeper by bringing up the name Steve Crompton.

I meant who do we drop for him to get a game. Loft. Thomas, olaf, dewhurst, watt & kayode are the loanees? So if kayode is injured dewhurst can come in. If he's fit loft or olaf will drop out?

Dan Hanford, Max crocombe. Hanford’s car got hit by one of those huge bins in the club car park during the floods and crocombe got sent off for urinating. What about spegial aswell. We’ve had some duds.

Can they get nothing right?
