Article possibly suggests it’ll likely be end of Season? Given it’ll take time for a new appointment process etc...

Shame to see him leave.
Seems to be universally liked by all.
Must have seen some things over the years, could probably write a book about it.
All the best to him anyway.

I know it's rarely done these days, but he deserves a testimonial - probably against West Ham if we can arrange it.

After 34 years Dolly has left Brunton Park, it's a shame he's left without everyone being able to show their appreciation.

If you check the forum buddy all the best to you and your family in the future.

Even more scandalous that the club hasn't even mentioned it or who his replacement is or why he.s leaving after such a long and distinguished career and what he.s planning to do in the future.

No doubt we.ll be in for some totally underwhelming news as the club see it as an opportunity to save a few quid and his replacement will be either some shonk that Holdsworth has found or some guy that Beech that he owes a favour to.

Well done Neil how the hell you.ve managed to work for these muppets for the majority of your time at the club is way beyond me

That amount of time at one club in today's game must be quite rare and should receive some recognition where everyone can say good bye.
Maybe the club could arrange a date in the future where, when's he able to, to come back as the guest of honour for a game?
A Dolly Day, maybe, where he could come on the pitch at half time and fans could give him a proper send off.

I don't know Dolly personally. What I do know is that the length of time he has been at Brunton Park and the service he has given is exceptional.

I also know from reading the many comments on Twitter that he is held in great esteem by both fans and players alike.

Reading between the lines it seems like he has not really had the send off he deserves.

In the absence of a Testimonial or anything official from Brunton Park any chance we could have a whip round from the Message Boarders to show our appreciation.

What do you think CCU?

There’s more chance of a tipple -over than a few forward flips these days I’m afraid :-):-)
