(Other than losing regularly!), anyone ever had any bad experiences with this? Asking for a friend.

I won it in the 90s when it was worth winning, got a cheque for nearly £800, had to split it 3 ways though, bummer

What can go wrong? Doing £200 per match through addiction? Prize not as advertised? Heckled and jeered for winning? Ticket left in jeans spoiled a wash?

I won it in the 90s too. About £300, which was very handy. I was taken under the grandstand where an extremely sour looking Michael Knighton emerged from an office to give me the cheque. Not a word from him.

Anyway, it was the home match before the Jimmy Glass game, so I get a mention in the programme for that game. But despite my surname being very common in and around Carlisle it was spelt wrong. Maybe typical of Knighton’s regime!

I won it the night Southall got sent off, or we beat Southend by a lot, anyway. It all rolls into one!
It was around 1st September 1998 as l was up for my Dads’s 50th. I think!
