Time to help the club?? was created by Exiledbelfastblue
Hi all, I don't get to many games with living away but have just e mailed the club to offer to set up a DD to cover the cost of 2 home games per month up until the start of next season. I'm putting aside my gripes with the board as I think this will assist the club in the long term. Be just and fear not. And please Covid 19 just do one will you.

Form an orderly queue.

An admirable gesture mate but with a billionaire, a multi millionaire, a football celebrity and Patty, not sure it’s needed

It might not be needed but I like to think that I'm doing my bit, I can see a few clubs going to the wall over this.

Clubs are going hand to mouth week to week as it is.

This closure, which will be much longer than April will bugger a lot of clubs.

This virus is going to change the country and world to something like we’ve never seen before. Scary times!

At least we’re not Stockport

They already have my season ticket cash so I wont be contributing anything.
In fact I should be asking for a refund if the remaining home matches are not played...…. Not that I will though.

Well he did say he would be a rich man had he not got involved at BP-pity!

This virus is certainly going to change the world.Globalisation is finished for a while-supply chains too stretched to cope.

The immediate losers will be travel companies-their cashflow in the spring is usually strong. It will be massively in reverse.

Companies with a lot of debt and stretched balance sheets will fold.Intu, the shopping centre group, is broken-the final nail this week.

Low oil prices will shut down the North Sea-end of the indyref dream.

The government will throw money at it to make us feel better-I’m not sure it will work this time.It feels like the world is readjusting itself-like a bonfire of vanities after all the excess.

When the tide goes out, we see those who are naked-so the saying goes.

92% of Scottish oil revenue goes to England. The 'your older relatives are going to die and thanks to us there are no hospital beds' pronouncements of Johnson just strengthen the case for independence, not weaken it. The useless, lying, cretin has just announced 5% cuts across the board in Government spending after promising an end to austerity.

It doesn't matter where the revenue goes if the Scottish oil fields are deemed uneconomic.

The reason Sturgeon closed down public gatherings in advance of the rest of the Uk is because Scotland’s health service is poor and frankly a lot of the population is unhealthy-kicking the virus a few weeks down the road is exactly what she needs.Mind-it’s been a good way of burying the Salmond case in the small print.

You would think from Marko’s rant is based on the belief that the Tories created the virus.Older people die from it Marko-Boris just stating the obvious to get people switched onto this

The world has become fixated with inter connectivity, just in time supply chains and exploitation of cheap foreign labour. This virus prove that model doesn’t work. Our supply chain in Hyperdrive is all within 200 miles of Sunderland-it’s become our USP!

Time to read my favourite book again-The Upside of Down.

Tranmere owner and trust fellas just been on BBC news. Sound like a well run club who involves the fan, bar for the fans outside the ground etc. We need owners like them, very long overdue.
Our current owners don't deserve a penny off the fans in the current situation, they don't appreciate them.

Why must you politicise every thread? It gets boring.
Try thinking positively for a change. Just think, we could export some of this wet stuff that has been falling on us for the past 5 months.

My solution would be simple.

Refocus the "Good Vibrations" initiative from tickets to a single game to season tickets for next season.

The club should put next season's season tickets on sale as soon as possible and encourage folk to back the club by buying one - or for businesses to donate them to schools etc.

Instead of "get 8000 for one game" why not try for 8000 season ticket holders?

All the focus on here was about supporter incentive for season tickets but that misses half the point of a season ticket. Investing in a season ticket is probably the best thing anyone can do to support the club right now.

Then keep fingers crossed we win and I doing so attract people back for future games.
