I believe so. I used to use a guy to teach for me, he came from Plymouth. But I thought they closed the airport

No idea but aren’t Exeter sponsored by Flybe? That’s what I was thinking anyway. I should have googled it

Plymouth closed and housing built on it.

Some of the flights transferred to Newquay [Basically RAF St Mawgan ]

Exeter expanding and is Flybe.s main operating base

There was a big shake up when Air Southwest went bust a couple of years back

Hopkin was the favourite the other day.

I wonder if he’s regretting leaving Livingston now.

I’d say it’s more a tweaking of Abbott’s current role at Bradford, and he’ll be the one covering the Oppostion and Scouting side of things?

Pretty sure this is linked to the Germans choice of manager goes completely against his 10-year plan for the Premiership

Wasn't my favourite manager but a nice fella. Often used to be in the bookies on a Friday night on London Road playing the bandit if we were at home. Always had a laugh with anybody that was in.

Bit touchy after we'd just got beat though in his interviews.

I'd take him over Shez though.

Good luck to him.

I am happy with Sheridan to be honest so let us see how Hopkin utilises the 'thriving' Scottish under utilised gravy train of players that everyone else in the world has ignored like that bloke from Ayr who they would want cash for.

An interesting appointment, obviously Greg had a hand in this - he just seems to be a smug get these days Greg and strangely his success has come from taking off us or sniffing round what we didn't get.

Greg is bad news for Carlisle United, feathering his own nest as always.

Not wasted much time between sacking a new manager, then after the event, obviously , approached Hopkin and got him to agree to it. All done entirely ethically, of course.

Collins was a very strange choice but a brave one.

GA is close with the owners so he will be sticking about in some capacity, he seemed very good at the job he was doing on scouting side, there is s documentary on Bradford on YouTube when they lose in the play offs.

Once you go into a coaching team though I feel you should be loyal, NM brought him in and stayed when he left, JW kept him when didn’t need to, stepped back a bit when JW had his bad spell.

JW was asked would he consider keeping GA on after his decent spell of caretaker, JW had already indicated he would be keeping Dennis Booth on as they had worked together in the past.

At the end of the play off season I spoke to Greg and he said there might be changes to staff and that JW had the option, he stuck with what we had, which was only right but he did have that choice.

I like Greg, he is good company and has some great tales to tell, just some things I have witnessed in the past in the dressing room or around football that I not always agreed with, but that's football, some will do things more than others to survive in it, that is why I wouldn't last long as I would be too loyal in certain situations. Maybe it is me who has that side of the game wrong, maybe you need to be more about number 1, I lost out on a few quid over my career for being loyal or taking peoples word for things, but that's life.

To me though if I was Collins, you do not need part of your backroom staff saying things that could be taken in the way it has, maybe it was meant to be and he did know change was coming, but that is wrong of the club to have that situation playing out, and if Greg knew, that is where I am different and would have had to confide in my work colleague about the situation. As I say, maybe I am naive to it.

They tried to think outside the box Bradford, or maybe take the German route from promoting from within, has not worked.

Hopkin just joined Bradford on a two year deal.

I think it;ll turn out we missed out big time not appointing him.

Especially in comparison to what kind of squad/players we're running with now. :(

I saw them 2 weeks ago and after that and what I,d heard about the outgoing chief executive I went to get a price on them getting relegated but I didn't bother because it looks like thousands of West Yorkshiremen had beaten me to it.

And its pretty common knowledge amongst BCFC fans that Hopkins brief is to reduce the wage bill by well more than 50% as those in charge can see that all the Asians who bought the cheap season tickets have had enough and the money to pay the owners salaries along with their lackeys like Abbott has to come from somewhere.

When they played Sunderland recently they only agreed to give SAFC extra tickets if they paid for the stewarding in the side stand and when they got there they were subjected to food prices inflated by up to a pound.

And if you're not convinced that theres something not right try explaining why they only brought 1200 to Accy to a ground they hadn't visited for years, is only 25 miles away and they'd been offered twice that many tickets some o which were in a brand new stand all of this from a club that claims to have over 15k proper season ticket holders. Don't know about you but it doesn't add up to me

He seemed to be a bit arrogant anyway when we thought he was going to be our manager. after the initial talks broke down, the board then agreed to give him everything he wanted, only for him to completely blank any contact with them, and by what I understand they were not a million miles apart, as is the case with most appointments at any level.
