Also 615 at Rochdale v Leicester and 1602 (353) at Forest Green last night.

AFC Wimbledon haven't said how many was at their match on Tuesday. I'm guessing its embarrassingly low!

Just checking....
If we draw with Stoke, we finish below them even if we win the shoot out that follows a drawn game. However, if Sunderland lose by 3 or more v Morecambe, we would go through along with Stoke if we then won on pens.....I think?

Last round of Group fixtures, you know, where both games should be played at the same time in interests of fairness and all that?

Just had a look at the fixtures, of 16 Groups, only 4 have both fixtures tonight (Ours being one of those).

Only 3 Groups (Again ours being one of these) have seen all 3 sets of fixtures played on the same evening, and one Group even finished last week (A week earlier than the others), though they managed to have the last two fixtures on the same night.

Games have been played on 14 seperate dates as opposed to the old 3 set Tuesdays prior to ‘International Weekend’ because several of the invited teams have had too many call-ups themselves!

And still they want another 3 Season’s of this nonsense...

Tuesday 13th November attendances:
Cambridge United 3 1 Colchester United 598
Walsall 1 2 Port Vale 878
Barnsley 2 1 Bradford City 2925
Crewe Alexandra 1 2 Shrewsbury Town 1009
Blackpool 3 2 Accrington Stanley 781
Bury 3 1 Fleetwood Town 554
Carlisle United 1 1 Stoke City U21 882
Stoke City U21 win 5-4 on penalties.
Charlton Athletic 0 1 Swansea City U21 740
Cheltenham Town 2 0 Coventry City 1296
Exeter City 2 0 Bristol Rovers 873
Gillingham 2 1 Crawley Town -
Grimsby Town 2 3 Newcastle United U21 547
Macclesfield Town 2 1 West Bromwich Albion U21 411
Mansfield Town 3 2 Scunthorpe United 928
Milton Keynes Dons 2 3 Brighton and Hove Albion U21 1018
Morecambe 0 1 Sunderland 2377
Newport County AFC 2 0 Plymouth Argyle 962
Peterborough United 2 1 Luton Town 2107
Portsmouth 3 2 Tottenham Hotspur U21 3138

Surely the clubs should be looking at this and realise the competition as it is is benefitting no one. I don't know what each club makes as regards a cash payment (subsidised by the PL teams) but can it possibly be worth it looking at the attendance figures.

Our BOD (and many others) should hang their heads in shame voting for this farce.

26.4 Each Home Club shall send the appropriate share of the gate to the Visiting Club and to the League together with a statement of the gate within ten days of the Match in accordance with the Regulations.

26.5 The Home Club will bear any losses (if any) incurred in the hosting of any group Match. The League shall however be empowered to reimburse (out of the Competition Pool, and on a pro-rata basis where the Competition Pool is insufficient to meet all admitted claims) EFL Clubs for losses incurred in hosting Matches in the group stage only, at its absolute discretion.

We would if there were any but given the gate last night this is more relevant

6.5 The Home Club will bear any losses (if any) incurred in the hosting of any group Match. The League shall, however, be empowered to reimburse (out of the Competition Pool, and on a pro-rata basis where the Competition Pool is insufficient to meet all admitted claims) EFL Clubs for losses incurred in hosting Matches in the group stage only, at its absolute discretion.

According to Andy Holt last year Accy received less than 40% of the money they claimed because the competition pool contained less than half the amount that the clubs were claiming

He is very old school and he certainly can't get away with how soft the new generation appears to be. The truth is probably somewhere in between as usual.
Our board will like his 1980s approach to managing players. They haven't moved on from those days either.

But it's clear that he hasn't got the balls to carry thru on what he wants to do so instead he goes winging to the media about it.

Just beast the fu.cking lot of them or get an assistant who owns a big stick

Never seen a manager who scratches his head and says I don't know what to do to sort it as much as he does

Maybe he should look at himself. Perhaps if the players were a bit more scared of him they wouldn't fu.ck him around so much

Stoke away to Port Vale.

Majority of Port Vale fans will be boycotting, just like us. Probably a few hundred of them would go.

Stoke have sold their allocation of 4k and want more tickets.

I've seen loads of stoke fans on social media calling their neighbour's fan base words like 'pathetic', 'embarrassing', 'tin-pot' etc, because of the numbers Port Vale will likely bring to this one, not many seem to have realised there is a boycott and if they do, they haven't grasped why and quickly dismiss it.

Imagine putting up with all this crap if you were a Stoke residing Vale fan?

I hope Vale absolutely batter them.

Out of the 3.9ish home fans, presume there'd be the odd Stoke fan who couldn't get a ticket in the away end?

Glad Port Vale spanked them. Its another example showing how much this competition is a farce, - having said that, the list is endless, from 32 year old French players starting, many a sub 1k attendance, no-one really knowing the rules, L1 sides being fined for resting players etc; yet they still think its good for the game.

The worrying thing is with Vale and Stoke youngsters having a big crowd and being classed as a derby and the exposure it got the EFL will take it as a success.

And now Sunderland v Newcastle youngsters will be a big crowd again in this round, both against the young sides again the EFL will deem it as a success.

At least we’re not Stockport
