So it was pointless making the pitch bigger over at Derwent Park....who has wasted money on that idea? Probably the council i expect

Still folk out west are absolutely seething at this decision being made..

Mark - some work had to be done in advance of the anticipated move across. Lot to criticise the new members for but this isn’t one of them.

Widening the pitch wasnt needed in the end so the money was totally wasted...thats the point.. everything was going ahead until these fools voted it down...

Serious waste of resources...

Ok lets look at a plan B.. Reds ground could be upgraded quite easily with decent terracing already in place.. its a new stand they nerd( that was also once planned but they had no help)...Looking at Salfords recent redevelopments, anyone know much coin has it cost to do it up?

Weren't they appealing for funds for a "war chest"...their owner /MD likely isn't gonna fund any improvements

If the smaller development plan is true, it perhaps makes more sense than the nonsense assumptions upon which the original business case was based, including a future year attendance of 2,000 spectators on a match day and 8,000 spectators for major matches or if the sports clubs make substantial progress in their respective league systems.
