And maybe he pissed himself and hot-footed it back to Dumfries when he saw the salary figure on the contract he was being offered.

It'll be better money here than QOTS that's for certain.

I wouldn't be too sure about that.
We couldn't afford Dobbie.

Dobbies wages are heavily subsidized by a couple of local businessman. They're only getting 1200 crowds.

And our board cannot get local business to do that.
Point is he is on more money than we can afford.
The size of their crowds doesn't come into it.
Fleetwood and Forest Green have smaller crowds but can afford to pay their players more.

That Pilling bloke has put millions into Fleetwood and Id be surprised if Forest Green pay bigger wages.

One glaring mistake in that interview - he refers to us as a 'very well run club'. Clearly not been here to long enough or spent time around the 3 stooges.

I’m guessing he’s likely referring to the Coaching side of things?

I like the sound of him. He comes across as an intelligent fella, keen to learn and is very respectful and complimentary of other cultures and customs. He will soon have that knocked out of him by the paddock!

Looks a lot like Steve Collis who’s been ‘deputising’. Left Rochdale mid Jan.

The keeper coach sat behind me at Penrith on Tuesday afternoon. If it isn’t Collis it’s his identical twin.

Will he be missed?
Assume someone else will come in and take over.

Collin is going backwards, or at least he's not improving, Gray is still pretty hapless and the young lad we've brought in on loan has vanished...not exactly a ringing endorsement of Craig Wight is it?

Who knows what restrictions he has on his time with the players though, you never know it may not be his fault but on face value I don't think him going is a bad thing.

It's better to be silent and assumed a fool than to speak and remove all doubt

How's the young lad on loan vanished
Didn't he play second half the other day for reserves ?

He was probably only on loan from Brechin City or summat.
