We won't know until there's white smoke seen coming out of the chimney.

It can’t literally be anyone. You do know what literally means?
Apologies for the poor choice of language, but I think you can understand the point I’m trying to make.

The names been bandied about right now are far from inspiring.

If it’s taken longer to get a manager to excite the supporters than fair enough.

If it’s taken this long to get a struggling manager in the league below then that’s shite.

I don’t think they are that crazy to bring him though.

They're just throwing Sarll's name out there so Skelton looks a better option.

Who would you rather have?

Honestly.

We need an appointment which is going to capture the imagination of the fans (in a positive way).

How come there's such a lack of Intel about who the likely candidate is when usually there are all sorts of jungle drums from folk 'in the know'?

On the list of possible managerial candidates I have Sarll just below Ian Huntley's ghost and slightly above Martin Wilkinson.

Simmo and David Nugent, seen going into the Magpie, coincidence? too wet for a game of bowls.

That's 36 year old David Nugent who bagged a (mighty) three goals in his last forty appearances.

Sounds just the ticket.

Sarll is presumably on the list as one of Holdsworth's under contract candidates that we'd have to pay a fee for.

Simmo would certainly bring the club a much needed lift, in the short term at least.

Skelton's interview on Saturday made me think , he's either been told the job is not his or he didn't want ,When asked about what's needed he used the third person a lot.

Could a big issue be that we aren't getting a high quality of candidates due to the feeling around the club. Then this is slowing down the process massively.

Skelton didn’t apply last time.

It’s not mcgreal or tisdale.

Millen or Sarll by the looks of it either one takes us down.

Wanted an experienced manager, trouble is those experienced quality manager can see the state of cufc. Give it Bridges, if where gonna go down, let’s at least have someone we can get behind.

Looking at the photos of Darren Sarll online he's not averse to a couple of kebabs either. Maybe the theory is to employ a "tough" manager to lick our under-performing squad into shape. He'd certainly be cheaper than the other candidates supposedly in the running.

Who are these high quality experienced Managers who are available have you got in mind?

Keith Hill although i`m not sure about him long term would get us out of this relegation mess we`re in now.

What evidence do you have that it is Millen or Sarll?

I hope whoever gets the job is in place before the next game. Before the gap at the bottom gets to big.
