Looking at the photos of Darren Sarll online he's not averse to a couple of kebabs either. Maybe the theory is to employ a "tough" manager to lick our under-performing squad into shape. He'd certainly be cheaper than the other candidates supposedly in the running.
Cheaper? Depends what Yeovil would want to release him. That’s Yeovil whose Owner has to pay some fee to someone shortly to do with their ownership…

For all we know Yeovil may be happy for us to take him off their hands for a modest fee. His 3 year contract with Yeovil which expires next summer has hardly been a roaring success with them lying 15th in the National League. If he reckons his contract won't be extended he could even buy himself out of the Yeovil contract for the rare opportunity of managing a League club again. He's only managed Stevenage in League 2 before, having been first team coach there previously. He probably interviews quite well to have had his career so far as with his cv he's not likely to be a front runner for any other EFL head coach job.

He'd be the most surprising and unlikely EFL managerial appointment since Chris Beech.
Talk that an announcement might be close - Keith Millen's odds have plummeted in the last hour or so. Odds on with most markets... but now Skybet and BV have taken the markets offline.
