Hi Alan

Would you mind if I joined you on one of your walks?I don't really know anyone over your way who could take me up for a day out and don't want to do it at this time of year on my own.

Cheers

Your more than welcome Andrew I/we are out most Sundays what's the best way to get in touch as I'm not too keen on putting contact details up on a public forum .

So glad I clicked on this thread today after reading the other depressing shit about the football!

Love the Lakes. Only return once a year these days. My wife always allows me a day to myself, to climb something the kids can't. I get them up some smaller ones though and often take a morning/evening run up a small fell.

I'll have to put some pics up after my next trip (April). Hopefully do the Coniston Fells, take the kids up Hallin Fell and run Binsey... weather permitting!

Cheers for cheering me up after another crappy result.

Good luck with that. There's only been one eagle since his mate died in 2004 and he hasn't been seen for over a year.
