What do we think, will he be the subject of a bid in January?
If so whats he worth, what would he go for?
I'll start
1. Yes
2. Worth - 1m
3. Sell 250k with sell on clauses
Also given the base fee Exeter received for Ampadu (8 appearances) we should be asking for greater than the 1.3 million they received (they had to go to a tribuneral),
Why should we be asking for more than Exeter received for Ampadu? Is Branthwaite better? Did you see Ampadu play much?
He was in the Wales squad by the time he was 16 and was still at Exeter and he’d represented them at different age groups.

I was saying we should be looking at a similar figure not the millions that people are suggesting.
Celtic won't be able to compete financially with Aston Villa or any other Premier League club for that matter.

Not if any other Premier League team wanted him.
Most of the Scottish Prem is on par with League 2.
Aberdeen have openly admitted they can't compete with Championship clubs,

It would be nice for CUFC, but I wouldn't think he's that good enough to start a bidding war.
Don't do Twitter but thanks for the info
Crowds are irrelevant if you are competing with Premier League teams.
Bournemouth with 10k crowds have a much bigger turnover than Celtic,
Who wouldn't want to go to Celtic?

Sorry to go off topic but how many people use twitter here?
Must be well excited the lad - imagine at his age going to sleep at night thinking that firstly there is a good chance of starting at the weekend, the gate will be swelled with scouts going to see him and the clubs interested in signing him are clubs at the top and of high pedigree.

Not sure if it been mentioned on this thread and I can’t be bothered to look back, but Jarads agent is David Reeves our legendary ex centre forward.
Aye he comes across as a very level headed lad. As long as them robbin [censored] at Leeds don't get their hands on him.
Luckily they couldn't afford him!
Spurs have just had a £1.75m bid for Peterborough forward Ricky-Jade Jones knocked back.
17yo, made his debut last month and most of the Premier League watching him already. Sounds familiar?
They’ve been told they may have to go to £10m for him. Never mind Ampadu, this is the barometer now.

Anyone know what/who the link with Leeds is, as seems really odd that the last two promising youngsters have both ended up there with little no opposition.

As if someone else on here could possibly know something about Leeds that you don't!

Is Ian Harte not Mccaron’s agent ?
They’ve been spending a bit on young players, signing Galloway and Mccaron for 300k (ish) is hardly a risk to them

Carlislewhite: does your phone vibrate if Leeds are mentioned. Took 10 minutes to respond to a mention of Leeds. I will confess that I supported both Carlisle and Leeds as a kid, and gave up on Leeds following a sublime finish from Mally Poskett at Brunton Park in late1983.
My uncle used to take me to watch Leeds when they had promising youngsters John Sheridan and Tommy Wright. Leeds had a good youth coach then in Keith Mincher, who was Carlisle manager for a few hours under Knighton.
