A Thread where we’ll put all the Released Lists in for this Summer from L1 & L2, plus any others of interest.

We’ll try and update as/when Clubs announce - Sod knows when these will all happen this year!

Normally I would be interested in the released lists, but with the present situation it's unlikely we will sign anyone until we know when we will start up again..

Seemingly no approaches for out of contract players allowed until the last week of June either, due to the uncertainty.

Chuck in we don’t know when 20/21 will start, and the fact most Clubs are predominately on furlough and it’ll likely be July into August in the main when stuff will begin to happen?

I wish we could afford Maddison,he's a Durham lad so who knows he might fancy dropping down to £500 a week to be nearer home. :p :p

Maddison would be a good one to get, but Birmingham were after him last year so we'll have too offer a better deal than them ........

Aaron Chapman looks a good bet to get in alongside young Dewhurst.

Maddison should be playing championship level football and was on loan at Hull last season. Wouldn’t be surprised if Salford went for him. Cooke is more likely he’s ex boro, plenty of good players released already but it’s most of the southern teams and we’re now competing with Barrow for players so it’s more difficult

Has Byron Webster moved to the Gunners, awful performance prior to his sending off, though he'll probably blame it on his Covid hairstyle getting in his eyes.

Didn't see him giving himself a wedgie after the first goal, so I might be mistaken.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we end with a few of them, if the board want to make a statement signing Ian Henderson would be one.

Wouldn’t mind us taking Callum Camps as well to be honest.

Callum Camps no chance, he’ll be staying League One minimum. Ian Henderson is a southerner and is 35, can’t see him trecking up to Carlisle unless we offered him a big wedge, which I couldn’t see happening considering the current circumstances.

I reckon Salford will sign Ian Henderson. They were trying to get him last summer.

If Henderson was willing to spend seven seasons at Rochdale his southern roots can’t be that compelling. He knows Beech which might help and if we throw in some coaching responsibilities we could have a chance even if we can’t compete with the likes of Salford and Mansfield financially, although the looming wage cap should clip their wings....

I expect Callum O'Hare to stay with Coventry, he seems happy there and he has just won a promotion with them. We do need goalkeepers but I am not sure if Shamal George is the answer. Unless he has improved since he was with us last time round.

Looking through the PL lists if Gethin Jones doesn’t sign his offer we could do worse than try for George Tanner who’s been released by Man Utd.

Was at Morecambe for the first half of last Season where he impressed before going Salford where he didn’t feature because of an injury...

I make it 36 of the 47 L1/2 Clubs have released their lists so far, and a couple of Club’s with ‘updates’ too.

Most of the teams still involved in the Play-Offs obviously missing from those numbers...

Mark Gillespie must have a good agent as he's signed for Newcastle. He'll probably never play except for a few League Cup games but it must be a dream come true for the lad. I thought he was average at best at Carlisle apart from that one night at Burton.
