I've done my homework on Scott, you could do the same.

It's true, none of us have seen him play at tier four level, but I'm struggling to believe he could be any worse than Zanzala.

So you’re starting a guy because he can’t be any worse than a guy who didn’t start today. Sound logic. FFS give it a rest.

We're being p_ssed on midfield and we're crying out to shore the middle of the park up a bit, so it has to be a 4-4-2 with a little less width.

No aimless lumping, progressive passing and movement through the midfield.

No width, no pace, no real attacking emphasis. A skilful winger lumped up front who needs to be running at the opposition rather than their back to goal. No height bar charters in midfield. Yes I would like to see Scott on the bench as another option but until he’s proven himself from the bench he’s way off starting. You go on about us having a John Beck style of play yet you’ve picked his favourite formation. Also if you’ve done your research you’ll remember that John Beck got Cambridge up to 5th in the second division and multiple cup runs. Not pretty but effective.

Something needs to change up front.

Our four forwards have 15 league goals between them. It will be hard to secure promotion with that kind of strike rate.

Scott must be way off it not to get on the bench at present.

If anything the amount of forwards we have may be the problem, they all bring their own skill sets but we need them to be able to follow the game plan that has been worked on in training. That is apart from Toure who I believe should be given a free reign when he's on the pitch.

We currently seem to be too quick to change the front line if we don't score goals in the first half, once we get a settled front starting line up I'm sure everything in midfield will fall into place.

We've had our second pre-season so now it's time for us to kick on and get back into that top 3, a good win on Tuesday will steady us and then it's onwards and upwards for the rest of the season, we might even be back in BP to celebrate in May.

If it wasn’t for Anderton’s performance at the weekend I’d have been inclined to play Armer but Tranmere have some good wingers so might need the experience.

Toure has to start for me I feel he’s earned that. Kayode needs a run of games down the middle and I think Patrick will be better on our large pitch than he has been in the last two away games.

Dickenson down the middle should be effective and he can drop in on the left and Riley on the right.

Big game for Callum Guy tonight as I think he’s been very poor the last few games.

I would go back to the team that was winning all those games before the break, personally think we are a better team with Allesandra in it, although he has been off the boil as well recently.

I would play 'You'll Never Walk Alone' as the run out song, we can say that is a tribute to Gerry Marsden but in reality it is a sneaky move by us because we all know that particular tune brings scousers to tears every time and we can hit them early whilst they are still gathering their composure.

We need a pre covid Mellish back in to take some of the tracking and chasing that Guy has been doing alone recently.

He's not the complete midfielder yet but he certainly puts a shift in and will allow Guy more time to get some quality passes in.

All season we are missing chances which should be put away Pro.players. I do not know the reason but to gain promotion this needs to change.I do think the ball is too much in the air when slick passing may be better.

agree with this, we have been direct all season but usually we were winning second balls then controlling the play in the opponents half, think we need a bit more computer on the ball instead of playing hot potato with it.
