NORTHERN SOUL- I am not thick. All I done was report what had been put in the paper, along with little snippets of info I hear, it adds up to something is being discussed at a higher level more than sponsorship.
It might be a shareholding they are discussing, who knows. There is more to this story..

Please go and support Accrington as you clearly love the that little football club. Post on their board. Ive no ontetest onthem or your mate Holt.

Northernsoul may I point out I did not say the the EWM were taking over . Stop making assumptions. Also you call people thick is like the kettle calling the pot black you can't even tell the difference between an apostrophe and a coma . Your a gobshite with never any evidence to back up what you say as you can't provide any. As for you constantly writing in capitals , it's been proven not to attract people's attention and more people ignore it .

To be fair to Barry...that's only since the knock to his head. He hasn't been the same since he woke up from his apostrophe.

I hope there is more to it that EWM throwing money at Jenkins to spend how he wants, we will never see the back of them if that is the case and those three rubbing their hands together spending someone elses cash quite frankly makes me feel sick.

I cannot see EWM letting the current lot loose-the debenture over the ground confirms this.

I also heard JN is moving south, leaving the other two.I just cannot imagine this arrangement being an attractive proposition for Day.

The big problem for all of the current stakeholders inc the Trust is they collectively have zero spending power- i.e. no cash other than AJ who has clearly reached his limit. Not a great bargaining position when looking to draw on the facility or increase it.

Change is afoot. If I was the Trust I would be looking to see EWM and agree a way forward-they have a trump card without needing cash.

Sounds a bit fishy though as Nixon would want a pay off that I am not sure he will get so will still be a part owner.

Then moves south, still with his cushy FA role and nearer the FA headquarters no doubt as travelling to Wembley all the time from Carlisle is a bit of a chore.

Not sure he is bailing as you suggest but with no money tree after blowing a few million in the 'we know best' Custodian seats,no pot to piss in so entirely reliant on club cashflow and EWM.Sadly the billionaire saviour turned out to be more dubious than me though good for a pepperoni at half time.

If there's no takeover in the offing, EWM may as well be our "back of shorts" sponsor - sponsoring over the cracks.

The shirt sponsorship ticket amount has been also put into the club alongside the 'agreement'. It is additional to that facility.

Not really clued-up on business knowledge, but the way I see this is, if there is no takeover and it is indeed just a loan and we are paying through a shit load of sponsorship. Is that not the end of potential sponsorship funds for the next however many years we're tied to this? If so in a year we will be proper up the creek as we'll have less income coming in.

That clears that up, cheers! Now the other part if there was a positive new takeover on the horizon I reckon, Jabo excluded the players turning down contracts would have signed. Either that or they were offered reduced more performance based terms?

Not looking good for a takeover in my eyes. Maybe PD doesn't actually want to takeover, in which case it's just a glorified loan which supports the current regime and helps them stay in charge. Biggest clue for me is if anything was going to happen, quality players would be coming in. Looking like more of the same next year. For Carlisle to really progress the BOD need to do one.

They have talked about putting in a succession plan, if the EWM investment is the first stage all well and good. If it is only a loan to the present owners and nothing more then the club is FCUKd. With no future.

I think it's a very shrewd move by Mr Day! as I think the present BOD are wanting top dollar for their £1 investment to leave and are probably sitting thinking the Golden Goose has landed!! I also don't believe Jenkins should be repaid his loans as facts, figures and statistics show what we have in place is failing since the 3 idiots were appointed in 2008 the whole club is a mess!! if it was ran as a success you wouldn't begrudge anyone who has invested taking back their return, if we have a bad start to this season and crowds drop their will come a time I hope that the present BOD will be pushed out the more EWM get involved the power shifts till the day comes and they are forced out.

We live in hope!!!!

I don't think a flexible credit facility is a legitimate explanation-in my experience, you put money in and never see it again. This was firesale money and it gives PD a huge whip.

The fun will come when they exhaust this line of credit.

Even if any individual/ fan had put in £1m ten years ago and get no money back when the club needs to be sold, who cares? If it was me, 100k a year is a pretty good deal to be able to run the club I love. A pretty chap hobby for a rich man over a decade I'd say.
If I was rich and inn AJs shoes, I'd be chuffed just to be in a position to help the club and that's the line he should be taking. People would be far less cynical and angry if they thought his ony motive was to help the club he loves.
The custodians have overseen a huge decline since 2008. Fair enough we have had some highs since KC arrived but 90% lows since then.

I have lots of faith just not in the two faced lying cu nts that are currently running the football club and cant wait for them to [censored] it up and for the rightful owners its fans to chase the likes of Nixon and Pattison not just from the club but the city as well.

Sounds like Nixon is off anyways according to some off here so you will probably get your wish in the end Barry.

How would EWM taking over effect the sponsorship ? As would that money be taken into account when factoring turnover or would it be disregarded as a conflict of interest ?

WILL PEOPLE GET IT INTO THEIR THICK HEADS EWM HAVE NO INTENTION OF TAKING OVER THE CLUB THIS WEEK NEXT WEEK OR EVER

They are meeting next week to finalise the details of the EWM sponsorships nothing more nothing less and the big announcement promised by Clibbins is the announcement of the shirt sponsorship nothing more.and you can be sure what he wont be revealing is wether the payment for that will be in cash or in the form of a writedown of the loan despite this being a major factor affecting what the protocol percentage figure will be.not just for next season but assuming t doesnt change the next ten seasons too

Why people take even the slightest notice of what that [censored] says is beyond me. Why ENS and RC dont just say sorry but were not interested in speaking to the monkey send the organ grinder is a mystery to me.
