Interesting that news re: Salford - actually seems like quite a decent deal by the club that helps out the Rugby League club at the same time.

Has anyone actually been to the AJ Bell Stadium? Passed by it quite a few times driving on the M60, looks like it would be a pain in the arse to get to.

I haven't been to the A J Bell Stadium but they certainly need to move from where they are if they are to go up the Leagues.

I went to Moor Lane last season, in the heart of the lockdown, and even then parking was ridiculously difficult. It's a nice little ground but built into the side of a hill, there are loads of steps and really no room for expansion.

The A.J. Bell is a good stadium, I have been many times to watch Sale Sharks. There was a decent amount of parking next to the ground until they built a bloody supermarket on it and reduced it considerably, but there is still plenty of match day parking about a 10 minute walk away.
It can be a bit of a pain getting away after the match due to limited number of access routes.

As with most new stadiums the facilities are good, but it can feel a bit soulless atmosphere wise.

Keith Curle and Oldham in a very bad way. Just one win, second from bottom, and took an absolute hiding from Barrow at Boundary Park today.

Sit down protest in the centre circle delayed a chunk of the second half, and they’re planning further action. Sad to see.
