Criticised the owner, was always going to go after that.

Agree I thought he’d keep them up - I think there’ll finish bottom now.

How does that fit in with your other prediction that we will lose every game this season?

Never said we’d lose every game lbo? I said any point from now to January is a bonus?

We’d finish 3rd did you say?

Thought you’d posted somewhere that this team would never win again or something.

I put us to finish 3rd in that competition just to have a unique entry. I actually thought we would finish around 7th - which is only a slightly less rubbish prediction admittedly…

Yep - truly amazed that this side won.

I thought 24th but couldn’t put that really so went with the lowest.

I think it’s between us, Barrow, Oldham and Hartlepool who goes down. Scunthorpe will pull away.

If they can get a couple of results it will be like a flip of last season especially with January coming . I stand by that Mullen , and you are welcome to remind me in May if we don't improve

It's still quite early in the season so hopefully we can pick up more points then strengthen in January. Barrow need a striker as well. Zanzala's hold-up play looked good yesterday but he needed that elusive finisher we're all looking for alongside him.

My picks for the relegation dogfight are Scunthorpe, Oldham, Barrow and Walsall on yesterday's performance. But normally there's another team that looks ok at this stage then drops like a stone. Thanks to Millen this season it's hopefully not us.

Watch Hartlepool for a drop as they will be breathing out their arse with the short break they had in between last season and this.

New Manager in at Hartlepool:

Bad day all round for Stevenage today. Scunthorpe got a point away. Oldham came back from 4 1 down to draw 5 5 , that must have been some game to be at. Barrow won at home to Swindon.
If us and Scunthorpe are going to grind out results, Stevenage could drop right into it. I thought Oldham looked well organised when Curle brought them to BP, the new manager must be doing something right and that'll give them confidence, though maybe not the goalkeeper.

Bradford had their best defender, Canavan sent off against Sutton.

3 points next Saturday! Need a vaccine to quell these outbreaks of optimism!

I listened to Paul Tisdale on BBC 3CR Radio and he was saying the Stevenage job is the hardest job as he's ever had. He said there weren't enough hours in the day to tell the Stevenage players what he wants to improve. He said he needs 100 hours a week with them. He said they'd improved on their performance against Scunthorpe in the first half today but they didn't have the right character after we scored the first goal. Like Millen he said he was basically holding on until January when he can strengthen the side.

Let’s hope they aren’t the same players Millens after.

Stevenage have made some impressive signings over the last few days. Michael Bostwick the standout one I'd say.

You'd fancy them to stay up if they make a couple more like that.

Gone for experience in defence hasn't he. Scunthorpe have a transfer embargo apparently, as do Oldham. Another decent striker and we should be able to pull away

Scunthorpe are being criticised in the local rag for letting their best player (Ryan Loft) go for £50k. :D :D It says numerous clubs in our division were interested in him. I wonder if DH made a call?

Jamie Walker of Hearts looks like heading south to join an English club with Bradford City and others in the running.

I thought that myself. I wouldn't be surprised if they got out of the sh*t they are in with the experience they've signed up.

Will Harris gone on loan to Barrow from Sunderland, could be a decent signing up front for them. Mentioned him a while ago as a potential target for Carlisle, be interesting to see how he does.

Not league 2 but a story on Facebook that the guy who bankrupted Bury has lost his right to build on gigg Lane and it has reverted to the football club. Good news I think

Morley and Beesley both leave Rochdale for 6 figure fees. Sounds good we got that game postponed
