...now that the new board members have 'bedded in'. Or have confidentiality agreements put a stop to a flow of information?

Thats fair enough Mullinho, I’ll suggest scheduling them at the next meeting.

Any feedback as to how often welcomed.

Personally I think after every members meeting the next time and date should be announced.

Appreciate its difficult with commitments etc, but it guarantees a flow every few months.

I’d certinally appreciate a meeting - would like to ask a question around the recent post orient stand fiasco (and trusts perceived support for this).

Also be nice to get a debt update (but that’s easier said than done)

Noted. Thanks for feedback. Feel free to email or DM the question via Twitter.

Just read the November board meeting summary received by email - is that all that was discussed?!! Guessing you lot don't fancy pressing the BOD with regards the Purepay debt...

The names may have changed, but it's the same old trust.

The trust is the problem, not the solution.

I guess the suckers who backed UF should now be realising their mistake. You were sold a lie, the trust has never been (and will never be) interested in truly representing the fans.

Can't help but feel that the use of the word "suckers" for people who had a different opinion than yours may fall into the "unprovoked abuse" category that you are so passionate about.
I'm disappointed Pie, given you've lived in North America, you've failed to pick up the meaning of the language.

To "sucker" someone is to "fool or trick" them. So when refering to a group of people who have fallen for a confidence trick, it's legitimate to refer them as "suckers". It is not, by the dictionary definition "abuse", just a statement of fact.

With the team playing well, the debt and the trust travails are but a distant memory for most fans.

We are a swan, gliding across the pond, but all the action is below the waterline

Jesus Christ, does it ever stop!!??? :(
Blasphemy is entirely out of order and highly offensive to the religious among us.

I don't really think there's any need.

Trust briefing says meeting will be next month… https://www.newsandstar.co.uk/sport/23143618.cuosc-carlisle-united-fans-defy-concerns-get-live-football-fix/

Got to presume it will be a match day (UF ran a poll around one of the members meetings last year and there was 1 to 3 support for this to be on match days so would expect this will be one of the things they’d push for…)

If that’s the case there’s 3 options:
- Sutton 3rd of December (arguably now to short notice)
- Barrow 10th
- Bradford 26th (Boxing day).

So you’d guess it would be the 10th.
Oooh, a hybrid meeting. Fancy stuff.

Can easily go wrong if you don't know what you're doing...

Also, if you do hold it on a match day, aren't you discriminating against the 48% who wish to attend the meeting online and also go to the match?

Seismic decisions ahead.
