For all the criticism, and I don't think he was the most inspirational of managers, he's a world class coach. He certainly was at Man Utd the first time around.

I'd rather they linked up with City tbh, how many rags have we had that have been decent?

James Chester and that keeper that was way above our level, can't think of anymore.

Ronnie Wallwork was decent for us.

We also had Oliver Norwood for six games in 2010ish, although Abbott didn't understand how to use him.

James Chester was keen on signing for us Man United wanted 300 grand Hull paid it and sold him for 8 million a couple of years later
