Transferred the membership fee and filled in the online form last week, still no response.

Seems to take a couple of weeks at least, after a fortnight you’d be best emailing them to enquire…
I asked the trust some questions on Twitter re attendees at their meeting and possibly a discussion about the use of the Reunited fund - but nothing.
Sadly as well a few other people have tweeted and sent questions and received nothing. Doesn’t need to be instant but the silence is poor.
This is why people are getting frustrated, didn’t join the trust initially and call them all the names under the sun. UF are also volunteers but are replying instantly to questions, it has seemed impossible for the trust to be able too.
Are you or the others you know members?

I would expect all questions from both members and non members are answered if asked in a polite manner in a reasonable timeframe.
Maybe it’s a question worth asking at the cusg meeting regarding whose responsibility is it and the timescale.
My thoughts are that the trust might or should have a social media spokesperson who would refer the question if he can’t answer immediately to the relevant trust member/section but should respond with an immediate reply to advise what they have done.

What about as a one off allowing non members access to the meeting might initiate a few more joining.

They are replying to questions tonight about the meeting to those that have asked questions prior but still have had no replies, so the answer is no - this is via Twitter.
I haven’t to the questions posted on here either.

It’s time for the vote of no confidence and vote them off as this can’t carry on.
It’s turned into politics, as I thought it would do and the current trust personnel being petty etc.
This will just carry on for years until the current lot are replaced and the club continues to deteriorate.
Momentum is with UF so call it. Otherwise nothing will change apart from more politics.

Interesting that they have time to write propaganda columns for the local paper, but no time to process membership applications from a week ago.
The owners of the club, not trust will be loving this.
Fan squabbles taking attention from them.
Use the momentum and use it to get them out - there’s means because UF have the support the current trust members don’t and move it forward.

So does this mean that if anyone joins as part of a group they will be invited to a private meeting? or is this something they are going to extend to all new members?
CUOSC don't deserve new members with an attitude like that

Yep agree - it’s needs one successful person to run this club, with ideas.
My opinion is nothing to do with taking sides. But the trust have been in position for X years with nothing much happening. UF have momentum now, causing the trust to be petty and lose even more credibility and confidence. Let someone else have a go.
Whoever decided to write that or agree to that statement by the trust wants as far away from anything to do with the club, as possible. Bad attitude and entirely wrong imo

They are trying to create conflict, don't bite.
Your influence of the silent majority is clear, let the process work, and keep doing what you are doing.
More new members needed.
Eventually they will wake up and realise the problem. Other than those who will hang on by there finger nails.

Being honest about their intentions and not having a hidden agenda would be a start.

If "Unita Fortia" are going to criticize their trust masters for not personally signing social media posts, shouldn't they do the same thing?
I expect to see all UF social media posts personally signed from this point forward, otherwise it's clear hypocrisy.

It's also clear from the leaflet what UF's true (and as yet unstated) aim is, and it's not contradictory to the raison d'être of the trust.
To be "like Exeter" is for the trust to own the club. That's the reason the trust torpedoed the recent takeover and it's also clearly the reason (at least according to this leaflet) UF are making their move.

I suppose it depends upon whether you think a takeover, clandestine or otherwise is a good thing.
What depends?
A takeover by the trust would be the end / death of the club.
I prefer the current owners and management, by a million miles.

Seems clear enough to me they are fed up with the trust like many others so are trying to increase numbers and then change those at the top . Maybe it will be better maybe it will be worse but you won't know unless you try . And any fan that thinks that a trust run by anyone else will lead to any openness on club matters will be disappointed . As for change many will get bored quickly when little if anything changes straight away . As the trust whoever runs it has 25% holding and contributes nothing anywhere near their share and never have . That's not to say a change at the top won't help and any improvement has to be good going forward as some on the current board clearly need binned.
