Well, I thought it'd be good to have a thread for people to put on what they are listening to at the moment. Always good to gear what other people are listening to as nothing like hearing a new band or record you don't know and it seems lots of you good people love your music.
So, to kick off I've had New Gold Dream by Simple Minds on repeat today. Can't say I cared for their later stuff but this record, well, it's just great and reminiscent of the shimmery, hazy Summer days of youth when you had not a care in the world.
What else have you all been listening to recently?

Bloody hell mm!!

I have a conversation about this album with somebody (it's got to be you?) every few years on different forums and then I forget who it was I spoke to only to be reminded by it years later at the most unexpected time,it's both surreal and excellent posting

Aye that was me as well.

My memories are so good about the Cambridge board because I had such a good time on there - if I had drank a few too many tins the temptation to nip over to other teams sites and cause mischief got the better of me too many times, Munchy_Magic had turned into Munchy__________________Magic because I had to re-join that many times before I finally got hoofed off it :)
The irrepressible Jimi Hendrix with a stomping live version of ‘Killing Floor’.

This was the gig which propelled him to superstardom in the US…

I'm not sure which is the best version, this or the Crosby, Stills Nash recording. I'll go with this for now.

Always liked Angel. Pop fluff heavy metal but great to sing along to on 400 mile round trips to BP. If you buy the albums, the logo Angel spells Angel upside as well.

My favourite band and one of the most influential of the eighties.

Elton John buys this album on vinyl as gifts for friends when he spots them as he claims that this is the best produced band of the eighties and a classic album.

They are currently touring this album to critical acclaim, enigmatic chap Green and only puts albums out every ten to fifteen years these days although he claims his best stuff is yet to be released.
