Well deserved. His earlier effort that hit the bar was a good one too. The highlights on SKY gave an impression of quite an entertaining game but perhaps that was misleading?

I was listening to BBC Radio Essex as well as Radio Cumbria on ifollow and they thought it was a really entertaining game. JP and Lummy sounded quite downbeat but the Essex boys were enjoying the game and were much more informative with their commentary. They were hugely impressed by Devitt's free kicks and stunned by Bennett's late blast over the Warwick - they'd never seen a shot that bad before. :-D

So if Devitt can score goals like that we can get a left back who can defend?

Yeah I was at the game but always listen as well on my phone...the Glums were so intent on disgussing the off field stuff I turned off....have done before mind, since they moved over to the E.Stand JPs eyesight is frankly not up to it !

If JP thought it was shite then his eyesight was prob no different to most people in the ground. I’m not surprised the radio Essex lads were upbeat as they were easily the better team.
