Post on this thread about how the club is enthusing you to renew your season ticket or get down to Brunton Park more often next season. Maybe someone from the club will have a read through and hopefully it will lead to more of the good stuff.

Stage 1 getting rid of all the wasters. New manager and hopefully better players to be signed in the coming weeks.

There's only one way of life and that's your own!!!

We already have all the 'good' players that we can afford so I expect a load of squad players to buff the squad out.

Apparently the catchment area of Stranraer is massive or footballers but because there is only one club locally most of the local talent go on to be farmer, fisherman or a heroin addict.

We could start by having a clear direction and some kind of plan in place for how we’re going to get there.

It doesn’t have to be Knighton’s “Premier league in 10years” or another pie-in-the-Sky rubbish, just League 1 or the championship would be a start...put out a few enthusiastic press releases and let everyone know what we aim for, and how we aim to achieve it, what the board are doing to help our manager get the best we can for him to work with...just be positive and have a plan.

That’s the biggest thing for me is the absolute absence of any clear plan, we just roll along and ignore that entertainment has to have interest...when was the last boxing match you saw that the pre fight build up was two fighters sitting at a table while they moaned and made excuses for how they’d likely be dismal in the ring come fight night??? Reckon if it was it would sell many pay-per-view subscriptions?
That billionaire saga sucked the remaining life out of the club because it massively alienated fans and made us feel like the board were taking the piss out of its own support (which in fairness it was) so the board have a massive task to get people interested in something they’ve made so unappealing.

If you can't beat em.... shoot em.

I'll tell what they can do which will boost ticket sales exponentially - [censored] OFF and let someone else take over and give the supporter base something to look forward too.

At the moment the club feels likes it's on a one way ticket to the wall.

Anyways, Carlisle Glass is offering free delivery on online orders over £50

Crossfire was ace by he way - I used to line Star Wars figures up and blast f uck out of them with them lyle balls.

Things progressed when I got a snooker table and used to line Star Wars figures up and I used to 'pot them'.

The poor things came to a grizzly end when I discovered fire and did a re-enactment of the death star blowing up and they got burned and some buried.

I sat a Star Wars figure in an eggbox once and set fire to the eggbox with a magnifying glass. I rescued the star wars man after a minute but only his top half came out, the bottom half had melted :-(

Perhaps some kind of scaled-up re-enactment on the centre circle at BP could be arranged to get the crowds in

The ones that got burned and buried was the time when I dug a thin deep hole and stuck cocktail sticks to the side and tried to re-enact when Bobba Fett died but by this time most of my figures had copped for it attempting to do scenes previously so a young lad down the road donated some figures for the set and Bobba met a new death of burning on cocktail sticks in a hole.

The lad was pretty miffed that the figures did not return to their original 'new form' afterwards and looked pretty pissed off so I kept a low profile for a few days till it blew over.

Big decision in the manager, and then who he can go on to recruit. I think a reasonably good summer may limit damage control.

Many clubs have announced their new kit for next season and have it on sale too, as usual we don’t. If we were a bit more proactive there, that certainly wouldn’t hurt.

To be fair it's only 10 days since the season ended....do we normally have a new kit launch so soon.....don't think we do.

I think many things will be late ahead of the new season, not just the new strip. I can see most player recruitment happening in July/August rather than before to delay paying new players' salaries. I also think most of the news and therefore the pre-season excitement will come in the few weeks leading up to the start of the season. I can understand this if the Club is still due handouts from the Premier League and EFL, cash at the moment will be very tight.

No because we’ve rarely been proactive in doing so. As usual, years behind other Clubs...

It's normal to have that down time tho CCU ...this end of season isn't normal so why would something like a new kit launch be priority. Minds are on the new boss

That’s the thing, so many clubs bring theirs out well before ours, I don’t think it’s something that would be thought about now as presumably it’s all been signed off with Umbro.

Just another thing that many other clubs seem to do a bit more proactively than we do, but it seems because we’ve always done it a certain way, means we haven’t reviewed it to see if it can be done better.

You’d almost think other clubs work out a deal with a manufacturer in advance and get to work on the design of their next kit in the year running up to its launch.
We’re talking about the same thing again here.....planning.
It’s almost like clubs have the foresight to get these things organised and in place, ready to be launched when they want to..ensuring that the kit is launched just as ‘little Jonny’ and his parents go on their summer holidays and he has a nice, newly launched kit to show off on the beach....or that the club would also have an extra month to sort out any hiccups before the season actually starts.

We however will do our usual and sketch something on the back of a fag packet before showing that to a panic list of manufacturers and end up having to pile pressure on that company to get an adequate supply of the kit in place and prevent our club shop inevitably running out of popular sizes at the point we’re likely sell the most...as it normally does.

If you can't beat em.... shoot em.

I think a mass boardroom suicide pact would have the most effect maybe with Clibbins taken into custody as it didn't look cosher and none of them having left a note thrown in for good measure.
