I'm not sure but probably 4192 v Tranmere (Tuesday night) in 2012. We got beat 3-0 and Andy Robinson got a hat trick with some cracking goals IIRC.
I remember that one. Ronnie Moore was manager of Tranmere and after the game he was walking across the carpark when one of our fans shouted at him he was a lucky so and so. He turned round and said "lucky be blowed, any team that gives away three free kicks on the edge of the box when we have Andyh Robinson in the team deserves what they get."
Couldn't really argue with that one. You could say Tranere played for free kicks but again you wouldn't really expect them to do anything else.

That would be the 27th August 1988. Crowd was 2,650 against Peterborough. Drew 2-2, Hetherington with both for us.
The lowest opening Saturday league match ever for us is actually from the season before 1987/88. The crowd was 2,074 against Scunthorpe on the 22nd August. We won 3-1, Robinson, Hetherington and a Scunthorpe own goal.
