In terms of realistic changes (as AJ, PD and DH obviously aren’t going anywhere), I’d be getting Skelton out the door as soon as possible. I’m sure he is a “lovely lad” and “Carlisle through and through” but it’s just not working.
Since Millen arrived he has persevered with team that Beech used and shock horror same results. Surely the time has arrived to try something different.
With injuries, not much we can do?

The current team are a strange bunch. We seem to have several players who have some sort of ability but who are mentally very weak.
Whereby I understand the manager is ultimately responsible, how can players continually fail to shoot or cross accurately when they have the ability to do so?
It was a bit ridiculous tonight. What numpties. Can players not have their contracts cancelled for failure to carry out basic requirements of their roles?

Worrying thing for me is I do not think the team are playing too far off their best; they are just clearly not good enough.
Attack is our biggest issue, not defence. Attack needs resolved as soon as possible.

The mentally weak point is a good one. How often do we hear that they're not vocal and assertive on the pitch.
Possibly Beech didn't want 'big characters' at the club. Perhaps he wanted players who wouldn't question his decisions. That might be understandable for someone new to management. We'll never know I suppose.
Beech oversold himself and was brought in on the promise he could find young players and sell them at a profit. The board looked to him to dig them out of a financial hole. Our wonderful director of football could then spin it that he made the club a few quid. All three parties had their own agenda.

The quality of players on our books is the problem and we do not have the cheque book required
To address the situation.Sadly I feel the game is up unless a new board with new money can take over quickly.Probably impossible.
But this squad is as strong as last season’s the club says so so we should believe it…

It's time for members of The Trust, or whatever they're called these days to have a vote to instruct its (The Trust's) board members to send a vote of no confidence to the main board and be prepared to resign their positions in protest at the direction of the club. The Trust cannot be complicit in watching the club go to the dogs.

Dinzeyi & Feeney have looked like an excellent central defensive partnership in trophy games.
That frees Whelan up to potentially play in midfield to give us a bit of spine.
Fishburn and Young deserve a run of starts together after turning the FA Cup tie.
We've had good results in the trophy and we've been scoring goals, why not pick a similar side for league games?

Devine was superb against Morecambe but struggled last night, he said that the trophy and a league game were entirely different animals which is why he was struggling.
You keep punting the young ones but when given the opportunity they blow it, there are reasons why an experienced manager like Millen doesn’t do that.
