Does anyone else put a sneaky bet on the opponents to “soften” the pain of a defeat? I had Salford to win, both teams to score and more than 2.5 goals so when they equalised, and like most on here I feared the worst, I thought oh well at least I’m a few quid up. Not usually but after watching that first half I did give in to BetVictor’s 11/8 half time offer on Salford or Draw.

As you say, it would have softened the blow. But happy to have lost the 20 quid.

Yes, not as much as I used to. Made a packet on our post covid run of defeats under beech.
My other team is Celtic & I now bet on rangers being awarded a penalty in each game- currently buying a small Caribbean island with my winnings.
