I asked the question in a round about way about what guarantees the club/owners have against EWM calling it in. We get a waffle answer again about confidentiality. If you ask the straight question that you want you get the same answer.

The only guarantee I think is that EWM have moved Days empire here. I can’t see them shutting the club down as there’ll be hell - however knowing some of our supporters nowt will happen.

Also Border, if you want the question asked - bloody well ask it, through here or elsewhere. The process for asking questions is simple. The lads put a thread up here on the Monday and close Friday before the meeting.

There’s a couple of threads recently complaing about the questions asked and other questions not being asked.

It’s really simple, ask them yourself and stop relying on other people then complain that your question hasn’t been asked. That’s just silly.

I’m not saying I think he will but I doubt Day isn’t bothered in the slightest if he feels he’s better off shutting us down. It’s what these people do unfortunately.

You said your sick of asking questions. If every fan has that attitude, then nothing will change and the current regime will continue running the club into the ground. Is that what you want?

I didnt say owt.

Iv never said I wouldn’t keep asking just sick of being made a mug of with the pathetic reply. I’ve asked time and time again and will keep doing so until they come clean.
Also yes I DO INDEED want the trust to ask aswell.
I’ve also asked someone in the media and will be asking the N+S this coming week.
It is nothing short of scandalous that they keep getting away with the pathetic replies.
I don’t want us to end up like Bury!

I’m was a member of the trust for around 2 years when it first started but dropped out when I realised what was going on.

It’s plain as the nose on your face what I want done....

I want the club to be asked this simple question

What happens if EWM called in the loan and what provision has the club to deal with it.

And then provided the reply was not the vague waffle we have so far had ask how they ever expect to re pay the said loan.

Now, if I could see all was well then I’d be happy.

However, can anyone really be happy with these people who are running CUFC!?

Or better still. LAFFY.... It’s clear to me laffy you know the score on this ... you pose my concerns in a better way.

Borderterrier it can never be good news for any business if its major lender calls in its loan. However the CUFC directors, the EFL and auditors seem reasonably relaxed that it isn't going to happen in the remainder of this season. In the unlikely event of it happening, I can't see how the board can have a Plan B other than administration.

In 12 years they have gone from temporary custodians to hated squatters. That will be their legacy.

If EWM call in the loan, its unlikely the club will have funds to give back the money. That is why EWM have such a hold on the club with the debentures on the stadium/ Land and club assets. The directors on the BoD also signed personal conytracts that they have to pay the money back.
