Thanks for the response - can't say I am any more convinced.
You say "It’s important to remember when the group is for. Communication to and from fans".
If that's the case, why so much emphasis on implementing the items from the wishlist.
I thought it was to improve the fans matchday experience, when the aim above seems not.
Just seems like a typical CUFC buggers muddle.

Much better to set up an independent group come up with a list of things you want done and what you plan to do about it if they dont implement them immediately.

Another question I would like asked if possible please.

In the modern game we all scorn the 'football agent' so why are we paying Holdsworth a wage because that is all he basically is.

Surely we already have people in place to deal with contracts with Nixon and Clibbens and if they are not up to this task then why are they still here?

Holdsworth needs to prove himself as he has done nothing of any note in the past, coming in and slagging of a more successful regime was pathetic.

More meat on the bones to his actual duties would be a start but that would mean he would have to come out with things that Clibbens or Nixon should be doing.

I went to the match yesterday and got stopped at least half a dozen times by folk, who had got the wrong end of the stick re the statement on the CUSG minutes.

To clarify; after I expressed an interest in the club history, Mouldy put my name forward for this. The work of putting everything together had already been done but I was asked if I had any photos I could give them. I have thrown a huge amount out but still had a few which I thought might be suitable so passed them on, nothing more than that, I am looking forward to seeing the finished project when it's done.

I haven't joined CUSG, it's not something you can join. If folk want to make a point, have a sugestion, the best bet is let the moderators on here know (they will have a thread set up before the next meeting) and they will pass it on.

Misunderstanding 2: A little while ago I was looking for a reliable printers and one I was using gave me the offer of three large canvasses/acryllics at a rediuclously low price to show off their work. I had to send for the first within a couple of days so sent them a photo from a game, nothing special but an ok celebration shot. When it came I was pleased enough with the quality and offered it to the club to fill up a blank wall in the Sunset until the history stuff was finished, so it's nothing to do with the project, just a random canvas. When the History project is done, the club can move it somewhere else, bin it, or leave it where it is. It was just a case of killing two birds with one stone, I got to see the quality of the firms work and the club got a print to fill a blank bit of wall. I'm not "back working at the club". Mark Fuller does an excellent job at the home games and the club prefers to use other folk at away games which is absolutely their perogative. I work for the paper and anyone else that pays me

3) I will not be applying/do not want the job of SLO. The reason I have been posting a lot about it is I think it's a really important job. One of the few chances the club has to build bridges, to try and bring all the factions together could reverse some of the negativity and apathy that lies so thick on the ground at the moment.

If circumstances were different and no one else stood up for the job, yes, I would give it a try but I can't because I work at most away games and that would make the job impossible. It has to be some one who hasn't anything else to think about on a match day both home and away.

Pheww, sorry about that all about me post. Just so much easier writing it once on here than repeating it a dozen times at a match.
