We have supposedly been housing “refugees” at the hiltop.
Last week my mother got verbally abused by a group of these lovely people when she had an appointment up there.
Several accusations of women being followed etc.
Today 3 of them jump on the roof complaining about conditions/money and kill the police.
Not a women or child in site.

Two police officers injured and hospitalised last Wednesday whilst attending an incident at a hotel in Alston, where asylum seekers were being accommodated for just 48 hours.
" Mustafa Osman, 27, of no fixed address, was charged with two counts of attempt to cause grievous bodily harm with intent to do grievous bodily harm, criminal damage and affray. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Carlisle Crown Court on December 9. "

I was looking for something to watch recently and this programme was on in the background, this lady sobbing and describing her son 'he was such a caring boy and he would do anything for anybody' followed by footage of the lad, turns out that he had died in the crossing from France so this show that was designed to highlight their plight and hardship through tragedy made me angry as this woman had practically killed her own son. the blood was on her hands - she should be in prison for her crime.
I get it when the bombs are flying round you in say Ukraine so you get in a boat hoping to not get blown up or shot from stray bullets flying all around you, but strategically plotting and paying for an illegal crossing from a safe country like France is not on, if anyone dies it is technically a business deal that has gone wrong and they want the book thrown at them as the motive was not built from necessity but through sheer greed.

Well said Munch. Heard from a few folk they are wary of going out at night in Carlisle, cause they no longer feel safe. Only a matter of time until we have a serious incident. Some people will say, I told you so and the refugees welcome gang will be responsible.
