The results could not have been any worse than Pressleys though.

Myself and many others would have been more than happy with TW and Murray till the end of the season and that would have been a proper cheap option but would have included continuity and not someone trying to stamp themselves on the club half way through the season as that clearly didn't work.

It is a fact that Pressley failed big time last season - unless his remit was to keep us in the league when we were fourth, if that is the case then he was a huge success.

What a strange way to begin an announcement - sounds like they’ve been negotiating for ages and, finally, agreed to pay the minimum wage or he is working for nowt, work experience is how Holdsworth will have sold it to him. In fact, did Holdsworth write this?

There are obviously two scenarios here.

One is Holdsworth is sweating like mad because he has failed to identify or sign an adequate amount of players to form a squad.

Secondly he has been given a massive pat on the back for spending sod all money from the hierarchy.

Take your pick.

I think you`re possibly right on both points...DH must be under pressure now to bring in 4/5 players in the next ten days or so.

But i believe he`s also being told to cut costs and save money this season to balance the books to make the club more saleable .

You leave it till that late to get your targets then that tells me you missed your targets and you really are relying on luck now.

Holdsworth is a total chancer, I don't give a toss if he wants to behave like this at another club but I don't like him doing it at mine.
