Aye was at that game. Saw all Halpins broken legs. Rockdale away, Middlesbrough away and Preston at home in the Sherpa Vans IIRC.

We were about sixteen years old and went on the supporters bus, four of us.

Cracking day out it was and when we got the winner the crowd surged forward and I was pushed into some lad and I knew him from Trinity and we all celebrated.

We didn't win many games in those days so it was a joy to behold.

Lincoln must be in nearly double figures for cup ties alone since their last season in the Conference. Not exactly an attractive side either.
