Humiliation on a national stage.
Pressley to claim he was 'pleased with the statistical performance' after being humped!

Give over you daft bugger, how often are we on telly?
And if you feel that way at least you wont be giving money to the board.
Jesus some people are pretty apathetic, and they call themselves Carlisle fans????
I'm sure they will be some Peruvian third division game broadcast on the internet to let yourself cream over.

Anybody know the stats?

I thought terrestrial is something that’s on earth. Are you saying that we’ve been broadcast on extra terrestrial TV as well? Do we have a good fan base on Mars?

I think the last time we lost to a non-league team would be in 1999 against Ilkeston Town.
We lost 6-1 against Wigan in 1934 (a cup record for the biggest victory by a non-league club over a league club.)

melbourneblues wrote: What does the N by the Bishop Auckland game stand for? If I remember rightly that’s the game where I went on the pitch at half time to fork the pitch when they asked for volunteers, I wouldn’t normally be arsed but I was getting sowked in the waterworks and I jumped in the scratchers after I’d finished
Memory might be going but did it not get abandoned?

Knew I’d miss one, added to the list.
Cheers Nobby!

carwash wrote: CCU it's very interesting how the non-league teams we've played are clustered geographically. If you were to draw a diagonal line from Rhyl in North Wales through the West Midlands down to Woking, we haven't played a non-league club in the FA Cup west (to the left) of that line since WW2. There are probably a lot fewer football clubs in the West Country overall but currently 6 out of the top 8 clubs in League 2 are from the South West.

I remember that game well. Poskett was caretaker manager after Harry Gregg getting the boot. 2-0 up through Brent Hetherington and Gary Fulbrook and then it all went wrong in the second half.
If you think we've got the worst team ever now you don't remember the late eighties. Standing in the Scratchers with crowds of 1800 watching Bobby McNeil and Steve Crompton.
