Had a great day in the currock today. There was alot of the old lads in. Reminiscing about the old days home & away. We sorted a couple of away days for nxt season. Really looking forward to it.

Le Gall has shut down. Not a pub, a 'lounge bar' according to the window.

Had food in the currock last Sunday, beef, lamb or turkey with all the trimmings. I had beef & lamb. Very nice. Decent menu. I'll be having the big breakfast nxt Saturday before the Crawley game.

Been in the currock since 2 this afternoon, just home now. Great day, option of food. 60th birthday upstairs, wedding down. Place packed... Currock is thriving!

Don't get me started on Erasure.

I once was doing exercises in the garden one afternoon on my leg as advised by the physio and was bored so started singing the Erasure song Sometimes to myself, not very loud either.

As any Erasure fan will know the opening lyrics are 'Its not the way you lead me by the hand into the bedroom' and the next thing I know a Community Support Officer is round bollocking me as a neighbour had heard me singing 'provocative' lyrics.

Thing was that it was a straight bloke with a missus who wasn't even there who complained, I was actually unaware that anyone was listening.

I was told that if it happened again then I could be arrested - bet there aren't many people arrested for singing an Erasure song....

I would do pal but I have already learned that he hates Erasure with a passion, it would be like trying to Baptise a cat - the rozzers would only tell me that I deserved the pick axe wound as I incited the incident and it was my own fault

There was only a few others in at the time. I did wonder if you were one of them as I know you've said on here you sometimes go there. Was a friend who chose the pub and we were in there for about half an hour. It wasn't bad as such but personally not really anything that would make me want to go back.

I agree and we would have likely reciprocated. I just didn't want to confuse any of the customers by asking if they were munchy.

In an ideal world you could consider that bit of the viaduct an extension of all the bars/restaurants on devonshire street, however in a realistic world...

If the plaza was at risk of toppling sideways through their roof they wouldn't be allowed customers in whatever entrances they've got.
