Mate says he came on with 20 minutes left but did very little. Sowerby played the whole match but was pretty ineffective and missed a couple of good opportunities into the bargain.
Another bumper crowd at the Wham. 2485 inc 447 Fleetwood supporters.
I bet the bars were heaving!
The sports bar will have been as the tents gone Still should be a nearly full house again on Wednesday.
But those figures just show to me how pathetic it is that the [censored] running our club cant see that splashing the cash is imperative and how lucky they are that they would get their money back whereas before long Pilley will realise that hes just pissing into the wind [ Unless of course the smart money at BFC is correct and he is the mystery investor ] and get bored. But yes I know the gates have disappointed AH but with the games, they have left it's still looking like they.ll finish with an average well over 3k But for a club less than 30 miles away to bring less than 500 while their manager says they're still going for promotion [ and theyve asked for 2k tickets for Bloomfield Road next week ] is simply a disgrace.
You may not see it but you wouldn't recognise the Wham now after the work thats gone in over the last 12 months. Can you ever see Jenkins paying 50k to tarmac and fence the car park I cant and instead of pissing about like we do AH just gets on with it like on the spur of the moment hes demolishing a 3rd of the main stand as it appears theres a major collapsed drain right under it? I bet he could have done without that given that hes just personally committed to putting in 300k for a brand new pitch in the summer.
But if you really want to do the figures have a look at what our back office costs per year are [ inc DH and Clibbins wages ] and compare it to Accys and then you.ll see why they can exist on what they do and why we need an extra 1500 thru the gate each match just to pay for those extra staff for instance not only do they not have a ticket office manager they don't even have any ticket office staff it's all done with volunteers for a match ticket.
I remember we used to have an owner with his own construction company, he ran the club well, got fans in and brought us some success. You still weren't pleased then we're you Barry ?
